First of all thank you for all the lovely Happy Birthday greetings and also to the three lovely Chix members who kindly sent me Valentines Day cards, I really appreciate them. As I am relatively new to tvChix, I now realise (too late) how to send Valentines cards on here. I am still learning my way around the tvChix.
I am Alison aka Alan. I was 81 years young on 21st February 2024 and really do wish that I had openly got into cross dressing much earlier in my life. My first memories of cross dressing were about 40 or so years ago in the 1970's.
Way back when my Wife was the warden of sheltered accommodation for the elderly, we often held theme parties, this was an excellent chance for me to dress up in a waitress uniform so serve food and drinks to the partygoers, then other occasions when a charity party was held for Macmillan nurses etc, I would ask one of the visiting nurses / carers if I could borrow a nurses unifom.
Then during my working days the office used to hold a dress down (or better still dress up) day for charity during a day leading up to Christmas. I was in my glory one year when the theme was school days, I dressed up as a schoolgirl and won 2nd prize for my efforts. Please see my photos which include some of me in the 1990's
My Wife Wendy (bless her) who is now on tvchix as WendyJill is very understanding about my crossdressing and encourages me to do so because we both know how frustrated and irritable I can get when I haven't been Alison for quite a while. Wendy is very happy to take photos of me dressed as Alison. I have never dressed without her knowing. I have never worn any of my Wife's clothes or footwear (Wendy's clothes wouldn't have fitted me anyway and her foot size is a UK size 6 and I am a UK size 9 or10. I have always bought my own female clothes and footwear, sometimes new and sometimes from charity shops.
I am a lover of and maybe obsessed with knee high boots and have several pairs , and they feature a lot in my outfits.
Sadly I do suffer from a badly formed toe next to my big toe on one foot it points up like a pyramid and easily gets rubbed sore and blistered, this makes buying attractive female footwear in my large size quite difficult. I do love to browse around the charity / thrift shops when out and about and some of my favourite clothes, boots and shoes have been found this way. I always have a pocket tape measure with me to check on waist sizes and measure around the top of knee high boots as I simply hate wide baggy boot tops which make legs look like drinking straws in glass pop bottles! sizes do differ greatly between manufacturers.
My Wife and I have attended several Pride parade events and ensure that we have plenty of colour in our outfits.
I have been out and about dressed in leather jacket, pride top, leather mini skirt and ballerina flat shoes to visit 4 ex work colleagues when we have a get together, chatting over a coffee or two. I was accepted.
I am 5 ft 8, medium build (I would say slim) green / blue eyes
I have natural silver hair (due to my age). I would like to experiment with getting my eyebrows looking nicer. I am not keen on the silver grey colour they are at the moment.
I don't wear make up and don't wear lippy. I don't wear breast forms
I often paint my own finger nails.
I keep my face and personal pride parts closely shaved.
WIGS - Over the years I have had 4 wigs,
(1) I had a Steiner blond wig which I used when being Alison the waitress and also when partaking in and winning second prize in the Schooldays dress down day at work for charity all in the 1990's, sadly this wig was dumped during a sad purge.
(2) I used to have a dark bob wig which I really did like but my Wife (bless her) said it doesn't look right for my age,
(3) so I then got a light blond wig which was approved by the management (my Wife) but I do find that I am so particular in how I look (part of my OCD), that it often took me a long time to get it to look right. so I didn't often wear it,
(4) then I got a light blond bob wig which annoyed me by blowing about everywhere and getting cought in my mouth when outdoors so that was not much fun to wear. Both of these wigs have since gone into history. I have a new light grey / silver short wig which is a joy to wear as it stays in place all day.

Just to let everyone know. I have no interest whatsoever in football, cricket, tennis, racing cars, in fact sport means nothing at all to me.
I don't drink, other than coffee and tea and water to keep hydrated.
Talking of coffee, Since 2014 I have been on a mission to try to visit as many of the Caffe Nero, Nero Express coffee shops that I can in the UK.
I have visited 474 in England, Wales and Scotland so far, maybe I have visited the Caffe Nero in your area. If you google Alans Nero Tour you will find my own website with lots of photos and much more including a link to my own Google Maps with a blue coffee mug icon for each Caffe Nero I have visited..
My other interests are Railways both heritage and modern, Buses both preserved and current, I am totally in love with Malta where we have had 19 holidays since 1995. I also enjoy visiting charity shops for ladies clothing, dhoes and knee high boots, if I am lucky in finding anything that fits me.
My recent lucky finds have been a lovely pair of M&S black PU leggings size 12 which fit me a treat, they cosy just £2 and also a nice pair of black PU Jeans still with the Only label attached showing the price of £34.99, they were only £3.50. they also fit a treat, just the right length, I was and still am over the moon with many of my bargains.
Alison's wardrobe consists of two black leather jackets, one black PU shacket, several mini dresses, a Pride sweater dress from Gap, lots of mini skirts, some ladies skinny blue denim jeans, many long sleeve tops (I hate my bare arms), l have many pairs of black PU leggings, black PU ladies panties, a selection of hold up stockings, some control top tights / pantyhose which keep my bits and pieces tucked away when wearing mini dresses. I have 4 pairs of lovely black knee high boots amd some black ballerina flat shoes. In fact my wardeobe consists of 99.9% female clothes and footwear.
Why Alison?
By still using my male initials A.C E. My first name Alison uses the first two letters and the last letter of my male first name. The C is the first letter of my favourite Bratz doll named Chloe. I had collection of Bratz fashion dolls, many of them wore boots. They have all passed on to other collectors but I do still have just two of my favourite Bratz dolls including Chloe.
The E the first letter of my surname is for Elliott which is the name of a 1970's company with shops in London selling leather boots and clothing. Their poster for black leather knee high boots and a black leather shirt won a prize in an advertising competition in 1974 and was so popular that they produced smaller card posters, I still have my copy which they sent to me when I requested a copy of the poster which appeared all over London on Underground stations and bus shelters during the mid 1970's.
