Mid forties gender-fluid person from the North West. I am a size 12/14, with a size 7 shoe and am 5ft 8" tall.
Not my first time on Chix, but I can't seem to stay away.
Unusually for most I guess, I wasn't aware of this side of me as a child, and instead discovered this aspect of my personality in my early thirties. It has taken a long time to come to this realisation, but if I really had to give myself a label, I would label myself as gender-fluid. I have been presenting as Amy (formally Sonja) at social events since then, having regularly attended Sparkle, LFF and nights out in Manchester and Leeds. I am also comfortable getting out and about in the day as just me, perfectly happy in leggings and a hoodie.
It took a while for me to find my style, and like many of us, I went through the 'teenage girl' phase, dressing at home with a cheap bleached blonde wig and bright red lipstick. Since then I have found clothes that fit my frame, flatter my figure and hopefully go some way to hiding my more masculine features.
I love heels but cant walk in them, and always go for comfort over style on a long night out - sometimes changing into chunky trainers mid way through the evening!
I am on here to reconnect with those I already know, and as a source of nostalgia, with Chix being one of the first websites I found and joined in those early days. Please reach out and say hi!
