Many years ago, before most of you pulled on your first pair of borrowed tights and applied that deep red lip stick, I first started visited this website. After such a long sabbatical, I thought it was time I returned!
So here I am. I've grown older and rounder but unfortunately no wiser. But I have learned what I like and, just as importantly, what I don't like. In my younger days I was desperate to look like a woman. To feel like a woman. And for people to treat me like a woman. But I now realise that only happened a handful of times with some very special people.
Now I'm lucky to be able to get out of bed and pull on a dress if I fancy it, a skirt and top or a pair of skinny jeans with a hoodie. Some days I'll top of my outfit with a little makeup to feel pretty but most days it will just be a little facial (keep it clean!) to pamper myself.
I love my life and enjoy my chance to wear the variety of styles open to women even if I'm never going to be able to pass in the street as a woman. That would be bliss, but I'm happy with my life as it is ...
... but I'm still keeping that door open a crack for that special man, woman or someone in-between who has a similar life outlook and would like to curl up in the sofa with this aging gracefully burd

PS Apparently I need to add a physical description - just shy of 6 foot in my stockings, bright blue eyes with natural greying hair. Build? Well it used to be slim/sporty but as we age and exercise less, I can't quite fit in to my size 10 dresses any more!
