My name is Cyndy and I've been around about 40 years. In the early days I didn't have a name or a 'look' I was just there in the background. Over the years I have grown to the point I am close to being my own woman. I've been married for 18 years now and have a teenage son who doesn't know about Cyndy. My wife does and has done since before we were married. That sadly does not mean she a friend of Cyndy, in fact these days the opposite is true.
So my life is a daily battle to honour Cyndy and all she stands for and not cross the line my family has set as acceptable behaviour. This means I am forced to skirt the boundaries of what I have had set for me. I don't like this situation but I tolerate it, in the same way my wife tolerates me.
The last year or so I have really expanded my wardrobe and accessories so that I can say now I believe I have a full wardrobe to call on should I need it. I spend lots of time in front of the mirror practicing make-up and work hard at keeping as smooth as I can get away with.
I'm not a showy flashy dresser. I'm 50yo so I try and dress as appropriate as I can, without trying to look 50 :) Something a few years younger is what I'm going for. I head out and about dressed whenever the opportunity arises and this is another thing my wife will not condone. So you can tell I do this in secret, daytime shopping trips are my specialty as thats when I get the free time.
Men are in my life at the moment, as a occasional partners. This is rather new as in the past I was like a lot of us who met for brief little sordid meets and the like. Now I prefer to cultivate a friendship with a man and then enjoy the fruits of that union. So this means I have become a sexual partner in the female role which is new to me this year and I am really enjoying it. I wonder why I waited so long now. Oh well never look back people say.
So looking forward I hope that Cyndy can establish her own full identity, despite my family situation. Either Cyndy or my marriage or both may suffer in this process, but I honestly believe it has to happen for me to be true to myself.
