✿THE DESCRIPTY BIT✿
I'm Danni, I've enjoyed dressing up since I was really young (stealing my sister's swimming cozzie and what not), this stopped for a long time as I grew up, especially when puberty kicked in and I didn't know if I straight or bi, let alone a closeted transvestite, but I got back into it privately only about three years ago and love it when I get the chance.
I love the feel of dressing up, the look and its ability to relieve stress, and yes I am one of those t-girls who find dressing up a big turn on too! Bisexual and find other trans people attractive just as much as anyone else, although I do prefer a man in a dress to a man in a suit and tie. Brown eyes and hair, broad shouldered and big built, slightly chubby with my best feature being my bum, and perhaps my lashes too.
I'm a nice person who loves a laugh and enjoys meeting new people so just drop me a message if you want to know more :) When meeting people face to face I can be shy at first but once comfortable I'm really blooming talkative!
When it comes to the bedroom, I can be both sub and dom, makes it even more fun ;)
✿COGIATI TEST✿
I recently completed the Q&A-based COGIATI test for trans & potentially-trans people and received this result:
"COGIATI classification THREE, ANDROGYNE
...the Combined Gender Identity And Transsexuality Inventory has classified your internal gender identity to be essentially androgynous, both male and female at the same time, or possibly neither. In some cultures in history you would be considered to be a third sex, independent of the polarities of masculine or feminine. Your gender issues are intrinsic to your construction, and you will most likely find your happiness playing with expressing both genders as you feel like it."
"The COGIATI...is [for the] pre-operative, questioning person who is attempting to decide what they want to do about their gender issues... The vast majority of the gender-dysphoric struggle for a long time trying to determine exactly what they really want."
✿COMING OUT TRANS✿
In 2015 I was trying to figure out who the hell I was, which eventually led to me having to come out to my mum and sister about being a transvestite -- well, my mum started guessing what was up with me and hit the nail on the head as mums do, she knew she did the moment I briefly went quiet.
Both my mum and sister are so wonderfully supportive :'D for example my mum bought me makeup and an amazing handbag for Christmas and my sister really wants to do my makeup for me whenever I go out; unfortunately, bless her, I don't dress up in public so she's only been able to paint my toenails for Candygirls so far. She's gonna do my makeup for when I dress up indoors at some point instead :)
My sis encouraged me to travel with my fingernails painted as well but I'm too nervous to do so yet, one day I'll stop worrying so much but it takes time. I've happily (okay nervously) shown them both pictures of me dressed up and they are both amazed at the difference and are really pleased at how happy it makes me. My mum even said my sister's boyfriend would not recognise me if I passed him in the street :3
✿CANDYGIRLS✿
I've been to Candygirls a few times before, but the most fun and most recent was my trip on the 2nd September 2016 to their Friday party. This was in no small part thanks to debswalsall and Samantha_phx whom I had some really interesting and inspiring conversations with, and great fun too! I hope to sometime go to the Big Night Out they mentioned; I hear it attracts a lot of younger t-girls like me :)
✿SMOOTHING UP✿
Since August 2015 I've been fully shaving my body ready for nights out; unfortunately my body has cursed me with a hairy bottom, arms and legs so you can imagine this takes a bloody long time to shave! Which really limited how often I was able to fully dress when I was a uni student, since I didn't have the time to stop it growing back back then either. Ever since I started shaving it feels the best when I dress up fully shaven, after all it removes the issue I used to have of not being able to buy lovely short sleeve/sleeveless dresses and always having to wear thick black tights.
✿UNIVERSITY✿
I recently graduated from the University for the Creative Arts with a bachelor of arts honours degree in May 2016, studying 3D animation on their Computer Animation Arts course in Rochester, and loved the 3D modelling, graphic design and character design sides of the work.
✿READING✿
I have always loved reading, to the extent that you'll usually find me trying to juggle more than one book at a time. My life long love of reading really paid off when it indirectly helped me get an A on my uni dissertation. At the moment I am going between the fantasy novel Lady Midnight (Cassandra Clare); the darkly comic detective mystery novel set in both WW2 London and the modern world, Full Dark House (Christopher Fowler); and Being Emily (Rachel Gold), a wonderful heartwarming and at times heart-wrenching novel about the journey of a teenage girl who is trapped in a boy's body and has parents she can't come out to, but thankfully meets people who can help her towards her dream of transitioning.
✿YAY COMICS✿
Over the past year 'n' half or so I've really started getting into reading new comics; Marvel-wise I'm currently reading Gwenpool, Spiderman/Deadpool (such a great duo) and Carnage (the best & most horrifying crazy-ass symbiote there is). On the DC side I've recently read my friend's The Killing Joke which focuses on the relationship between Batman and the Joker, and I'm starting to read his Batman: Year One. I'm also reading the Injection graphic novel series by Image Comics, which is definitely one to read if a well thought out combination of science, magic and horror is up your street.
✿MUSIC✿
I enjoy a variety of music types, heck, one moment I could be listening to some heavy dubstep and move directly on to chilling out to some soul music, and then straight on to some classic rock such as Queen, and right back to dubstep - or my new favourite electro-dance genre, "full flavor" which lavishly combines numerous types of electronic music into one song for an often bass heavy and eargasmic payoff.
