February 2021 - It’s been a while. The lockdown really did help me find myself, but a change in job and reduced opportunities impacted on Gemma appearing. I’m still here. However, my mind is focused on other things at the moment like my partners health (Big C ), so Gemma will be intermittent.
September 2020 - Thanks to all you lovelies who wished me a happy birthday. And also those great comments that I’ve had which instil confidence. I went shopping today. Nothing too flash - some fruit, wipes etc. However, I was dressed and out for the first time in years - and in daylight too. No dramas (except when I was overcharged by $50!); but I felt comfortable and confident and didn’t raise any eyebrows. What’s next?
July 2020 - I’m so pleased that people are being very nice with some good ratings on photos. I suppose they are acknowledgments that I’m trying, although I have a way to go. There’s even some nice male admirers that are saying nice things, although you wonder their motives sometimes! Still, there’s progress.
There’s various tests that I’ve found for determining a classification for me. Most of them have caveats and seem to point towards a need to see an expert who can help. However, the scores are interesting:
COGIATI - Classification Three, Androgyne
OSRI - Masculinity 101; Feminity 92, so borderline.
PAQ - Feminity 17, Masculinity 16 - Undifferentiated.
So I think I need a bit more time to explore me!
I’m really impressed. I’ve found a local make up specialist who is willing to make me up and give advice. That means so much to me. I won’t jump I’m just yet as I’ve got a couple of skin cancers to be removed first, so it will be a while before you see a properly made up Gemma!
I’m finding the site and comments from others an inspiration to continue on my journey and find the real me. Every opportunity that I have to dress is being taken up and I have a greater sense of wellbeing in doing so. So I’m setting myself some goals and targets which involve wardrobe, looks, and getting out. It’s going to be hard, but I can see daylight.
2020 - a long time, another country. Eleven years to be exact. . More opportunities, but need to boost wardrobe and the way I look. Okay, I’m much older, but should be able to do better. Will see how we go.
2009 January Taking a rest again. New relationship requires gauging before renewing my profile further. Pics have temporarily gone and will renew them later.
2008 September. Life changing experience. Could be for the better in terms of T-girl experience. Need to take stock and get the clothes out again. Need to work on makeup, posture, and getting a nice smile! Outings to Fountain, Brighton and London need planning. So much to do.......
Still need to do some work on two things: face and figure. Perhaps a diet and makeover are needed!
Blue/Grey eyes, brown hair and medium build. Discovered I'm a size 16! This is real. Although I'm sure I look thinner than some who say they are size 14!
