Hey guys and girls! Merry Christmas!
Life is weird. It persists, it goes on and on and it doesn't stop for anyone. I refer to the girl within me as Sissy, because that's how I came to know her.
8 months ago I was talking about how Sissy felt free and only a month or so later she was back within me. Hiding Sissy from view. I don't know if it was shame, or fear, or a combination of several different, other feelings and circumstances, but Sissy had to retreat.
That's not to say I've been unhappy. I've started a new job, which is an absolute dream and I love it. But throwing myself into that has left little time for Sissy to come out and play.
Recently, the urge to let her out has crept back in, and so I made some changes to the way I was living, and I hope to be able to get out as Issy more regularly once again. My commitment for 2023 is to make no more commitments, other than to allow myself the time to really, truly let Sissy explore.. To be braver, to worry less, and to see if the acceptance that Sissy wants exists around and inside me.

I've been away for quite some time, but now that I'm properly single I'm looking at this side of me a lot more seeing as I should have a lot more freedom to go out and have as much girly fun as I want without feeling bad about it. That's kinda cryptic, but let's just roll with it.
