Exploded from the closet in the Autumn of 2005 after a lifetime of secret dressing. 5'10", blue eyes with a wicked sense of humour. Love to be dressed in everyday 'passable' wear provided it's pretty and comfortable. Now able to venture out into the big wide world occasionally.
I'm happy to meet, correspond, email others, especially in my local area and willing to help/advise those who are finding it difficult to escape from behind those closet doors. Not really interested at all in meeting 'admirers'. Will always answer messages/emails from other cd/tv's. NOT INTERESTED IN MEN AT ALL SO PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME CHAPS.
So let's add some more. Oh dear! I've reached pension age now (for ladies, that is) but I don't consider myself old. In many ways I feel I'm still 16, a child of the sixties. That's the period I really miss, the mini skirts, Mary Quant, the colours, the music. I don't suit the dresses now though. There's another thing, I really, really don't like wearing clothes that don't look right. So for me it's usually almost knee length and longer dresses, usually pretty but occasionally plain.
What else can I tell you? Ah make-up! Nothing special really but I can usually create a 'natural' look in around ten minutes. My hair is a light brown/blonde mix and not quite shoulder length and can be a straightish bob or a not too curly perm, depending on which wig I'm wearing.
I'm a semi-permanent tv too in that I no longer wear that awful mens industrial strength underwear - ever! I've usually got clear polished nails too.
HAd I known what I know now some 20 years ago I would have tried to pursue the SRS route and I'm certain I would have been female some time ago. As it is, given the cards life has dealt me, I seem to be happy in my current role. Sitting on the gender fence, flitting in and out of femininity at will. I've learned not to get into a tizzy about who and what I am. All my friends and family know exactly who I am and those that don't like it have to put up with it. I'm blesssed with a wonderfully supportive daughter and grandchildren (yes they know too) and I'm quite often referred to as 'tranny granny'. Ah!
