Hi, I'm Joanne, and after many years in a closet that I didn't realise I was in I have decided to let my inner lady come out !
Sadly 6 years ago I was suddenly widowed, so I don't have to hide anything from anybody, I want to explore my inner female by dressing in nice dresses, skirts, lingerie and heels, when I stop looking like Bambi on ice ! I know the journey will take some time as just doing the simple things like make up is something totally foreign, so any help or tips in this area will be greatly appreciated, I have already had a lot of help from the Girls that regularly go to "Quest" and "The Attic" and I thank you all for being so helpful and friendly XX
Joanne WAS a size 20/22 but has now reduced down to a 16 ( aren't sizes weird ? some 16's I cant get in, yet others fall off me !), shoulder length brown hair, or I can be Blonde or red head as the mood takes me, and blue eyes, the incentive to slim was so I can get into those fit and flare summer frocks that I adore so much
Joanne was "born" in Oct '19 but by LFF in February 2020 made her public debut, I now go to LFF regularly and other LGBT events, but I'm equally happy going out Shopping for cloths or even to the supermarket and just going out in general,
I have met some lovely people so far, most of whom I'm proud to call friends, and look forward to making lots more new ones X

UPDATE 8/2/20
Just been to my first LFF, what a night ! I'm still on a high the day after, why didn't I start dressing before ! it was such a buzz and the first time Joanne has been out in public, and it felt so good and so right. Met up with lots of girls I know already and chatted to lots of new ones to, I've not ben out that late for ages, started in the cosmo at 5-30, went to 4 other bars and finally got to bed at 3-45 am
Can't wait for March LFF, see you all there XX
UPDATE 12/9/21
Well what a bad year for all of us, Covid slowed me down but didn't stop me ! I'm Joanne at least 4 times a week, and often a lot more, still going to the clubs and LFF and Canal St etc, but Joanne now happily goes into town shopping, or to Tesco's or out for a coffee and cake either with T girl friends or on her own, and I've met so many lovely people as well on this short journey, but one that will continue for a long time yet
As we all did, I put some weight on over lockdown, and went up to size 22, but have now shed 2 stone so I can get in some 16 and 18 things now, I just LOVE being a girl XXX
