After a life working ar sea I find this poem very poignant especially in relation to Remberance Day.
There are no roses on a sailor’s grave,
No lilies on an ocean wave.
The only tribute is the seagulls’ sweeps,
And the teardrops that a sweetheart weeps.
I have done the rounds, numerous LFF's, Manchester for several Sparkle's and other days and even locally quite a few times, and really enjoyed them all. Tried Blackpool a couple of times.
Yayyyyy! Whoop Whoop! Got my first '1' vote! Haha! so must be doing something right! It only happened when I somehow managed to squeeze into the bottom of the Mature Babes list, some time ago now. Go figure? And as soon as I changed my Profile Pic recently I got another one....just one! Hmmmm!
Anyway I decided to switch off the voting as I felt I was becoming a bit of Vote whore! And that's not pretty :)
I just love being here and having some wonderful chats and some humorous banter. Fellow Chix have helped my confidence no end, you are all so wonderful, and to have appeared on a list, even fleetingly, is one heck of a boost when there are so many truly beautiful ladies here.

A Bit About Me.
It may be hard to believe but I can be a bit introvert until I settle in, but then I guess I'm just a scaredy cat and a big girls blouse!
But I think I've settled in now, and made so many chat buddies. And really miss it when I cannot get connected. xxx
I am 6 ft 1 in, and fairly broad shouldered, 'man's back' so sorry, not as convincing as I'd like, that doesn't change the fact that I love dressing up and have done for years behind closed doors!
I have Pale blue eyes and greying hair. I have shaved arms, legs and body, still trying to sort out how to stop the bikini line rash though Ugh! Yes! Still! But now I've found epilating helps Yay!! (Santa brought me that epilator, who'd have thought he was a sadist!! Yow! it hurts!, but I'll persist)
I like playing guitar, concerts, music , movies, reading, travel and socialising.
I think I have a good sense of humour and try to see the best in everybody, sometimes to my own detriment.
I love the actual getting dressed part and putting on make-up, then seeing what I hope is a nice looking woman looking back at me from the mirror. Being and acting 'femme' is inspirational. I cannot think of the right word, but it just feels so comfortable.
I am thoroughly enjoying chatting and love looking at everyone's profiles and seeing how lovely you all are.
My partner of many years is aware of my predilection for sheer materials and high heels, because I told Her .....So far so good :-) In fact she has been bloody wonderful......buys me a few things and we even been out together from time to time :)
She is not a prude just a tad straight laced and thinks it is a bit kinky if SHE wears stockings, but has been surprisingly understanding and hardly even phased when I told her.
Lets just hope it carries in this way, only time will tell.
I do believe in honesty and would certainly not arrange a meet if I did not intend meeting. It's just damned bad manners!
I do detest and despise rude people, manners don't cost anything as the saying goes, and it's true.
I do not believe in the saying that respect has to be earned, to me, that is the defence of small-minded people. You should always treat everyone with a level of respect unless they subsequently prove otherwise. I believe respect is lost, not earned.
(steps down and kicks soap box back under the sink!)
I like make up and try to make myself look good without looking like a clown, and have found the internet a great source of inspiration. YouTube and Pinterest especially.
Finding this site was one of the best things to happen, I did not feel so alone and guilty about what I had always considered my fetish. (I suppose it is really :-p, and I love it!)
I like to chat, with other CD's and TGirls, I am changing my attitude towards admirers, as long as they are respectful and do not expect too much, I like to flirt as much as the next girl.
