Five things I have learned in five years since I put a spike heeled foot back into this lifestyle and rejoined Chix...
1) Your popularity increases exponentially if you feature a crop in you profile pic.
2) As much as I hate labels, I've come to the conclusion that I'm a sapiosexual...look it up :P
3) Apparently the Big Blue Badge doesn't apply if you aren't 'one of those Admirers'.
4) Popularity in a chatroom is inversely correlated to how busy you are. If you want people to message you, start doing chores and barely pay attention. :p
5) No one reads profiles. To prove it, if you are a sub Admirer, address me as 'Madam' when first corresponding, and we'll see where things go.

As it turns out, walking in heels is like riding a bike, except way sexier. I've even invested in a few impractically high models that are difficult to walk in but look great on film.

So why do you spend a couple of hours on the weekend dolling up? A wise person once told me 'The thrill is putting clothes on, not taking them off.' If you don't understand this, then we probably won't get on. I dress for pleasure: I enjoy the ritual, the transformation and not being the boring guy I am for most of the week. I am not full time nor have any desire to be, being a guy has its moments as well.

So is your handle a drag play on John Deere? No, it is entirely a happy accident. Joni stems from Joan Jett, Joan Halloway from the TV series Mad Men and a dear friend of mine. Deering is a tribute to Erin Gray, who played Col. Wilma Deering on the old Buck Rogers show from the 80s. She was my first crush and probably the reason I have a passion for tight and shiny clothing. If I was going to do a drag name, I think I'd go with Misty Mountainhop, Rue Morgue, Red Barchetta, Dee Trooper or Carolina Reaper. Double bonus points to you if you get all those references.
