I've been dying to write this... Yay!!! Over 20,000 views!!! LOL ;)
Hello my lovelies. :)
It's been two years since I last updated my profile. Far, far too long...
You see, I've been a very, very busy girl. I used to be able to spend hours here 'cos I was a rave DJ, and promoter. I lived the life of a student ;). Get up late, work on the weekends. Now I've joined the serious people. I work in a university library, and I'm taking a part-time degree in History there as well. The time had come when I wanted different experiences in my life and besides, there are things I want to achieve...
...Like just being me, Julia. :)
Right now we're in the middle of the summer vacation which means I get out more than usual. No shrinking violet here! I'm very open about who I am which is very liberating. It means I can go places and do things if I'm so inclined. Nice. Today I'm be on a shopping spree. (No surprises there for a t-girl then ;).)
I guess the best way to let you know about me is to list a few likes and dislikes...
Likes:
Life and Love (it's an amazing world)
History (the best mysteries, love stories, life stories, political intrigues, military campaigns, and more, ever...)
University (no really, I should have done it years ago)
Motor Racing, especially Formula One (not very 'T', but going fast is such a thrill)
Good films (everything from Casablanca to LoTR to The Station Agent to the first Matrix film to Shaun of the Dead to School for Scoundrels to Monty Python and the Holy Grail to well, you get the idea...)
Comedy (not just any comedy ;) - Bill Hicks, Stewart Lee, Dara O'Briain)
Television (The Wire, House, Sherlock, Top Gear (sorry) - I might have said Dr Who, but it's not the same since David left)
British countryside (bowls me over everytime - especially the highlands of Scotland)
And of course, being Julia, being the masculine / feminine, gentle, passionate person I am

I'll stop the list there. I don't like disliking things.
I'm here to enjoy life, make friends, find out what's happening in our little world, and anything else that happens to come along ;).
