Hi I'm Justine, slim size 10/12, olive skin and dark brown eyes. I have been here with TvChix since 2006 and have found it a great resource for keeping in touch with friends, old and new.
I am not really looking for any kind of relationship at all though, as I found it complicates an already pretty complicated life. I don't do organised " meets " and I would much prefer to meet people in everyday settings. I value friendship far more than love. Love very often turns out not to be love but real friendship very rarely disappoints or lets you down. Kindness and Loyalty are very important to me.
Mind you, if Jude Law walked into the pub and bought me a white wine & soda I would not be complaining!
I first made some tentative steps out on my own in Feb 2006 and didn't really know what to do or expect, but fairly quickly found my feet and some friends who today remain very dear to me. It was then that I decided that this is the real me and that I should stop denying myself the feelings that I knew were right. Yes I am Transexual, I see myself as female 100% of the time and I am taking steps to achieve this. I do have to keep a job down ( in the most male dominated and bigotted sector you could imagine ) though, so as to not rock the boat too much I don't turn up at work in a skirt.......not just yet anyways. I am saving that one up for later!!
I am on Hormones and I am having laser hair removal and feel all the better for it i can tell you. Things are progressing nicely in that department thanks.
All my immediate family know that I am who I am, either by me telling them or by them finding out by themselves and they have all been kind and very supportive. I have recently made the bigger steps of telling all the old friends that I have known for years, but had distanced myself from while I was sorting things out, all about myself and who I am. This could not have been received in a more positive way by them. Their reaction really overwhelmed me in fact. On all my trips out, meeting strangers, new people or telling friends and family about myself, I have yet to receive a bad reaction from anyone at all. I am not so blind that I don't know that it does happen but I don't think that will stop me from doing or going most places. I used to get into London a lot, which I love, and sometimes get back the occasionally to see friends, but I also get along to Brighton, Bristol, Cardiff, Plymouth and most places inbetween. I do get to Pink Punters occasionally too but not recently. If you see me, and fancy saying Hi, please do. I am always happy and friendly so please don't be shy.
As far as styles go, I always try to look good and dress according to the right occaision. I am in my early forties now so i guess the days of the short skirt and crop top are well behind me now, preferring a good pair of jeans and a nice top. Love a nice hat too ( thanks Charlie! ). It's not about standing out and being noticed for me, more that I want to blend in with everyday life really. Thats still no excuse for looking dowdy though!
