Have just come back from a lovely Christmas and New Year in the sun, spent 4 weeks in Egypt really enjoying myself. The fact just about everywhere sold Ouzo, put a smile on my face as soon as I arrived.
Posh frocks for Xmas and New Year (see new pick) , plus the swimsuits for sun bathing made for a heavy case, but most definitely worth it.
So did the shopping am sure my sister and I did wonders for the Egyptian economy, what with Perfumes, bags, jewellery and shopping for prezzies for people at home.
But now back in the cold of the UK, wondering where to go next, probably a cruise in the sun next Xmas, but somewhere else nice and warm before them.
Seems a long time since this changed, and for the same reason now as then,
A Big thank you to all of the kind Birthday wishes, just too many to be able

Another birthday has come and gone, so many Birthday wishes, just too many to answer

Strangely 2024 was spent exactly the same as 2022, first Horseguards for the Royal Marines
beating the retreat, followed my a meal out with the family....
13th July 22. another year gone by, so a thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes, if I missed thanking individuals - sorry..
Spent the day with my daughter and her family, having a nice meal
Followed by an evening out in London, watching the Royal Marines beat the retreat on Horseguards
Parade - on a lovely warm sunny evening. well worth the long journey home.
Saw the Guards battalions doing the same thing the week before.
Been out and about so much recently, seems like I am never home and still lots planned
for the coming months, Particularly enjoyed an Andre Rieu concert at Wembley a chance to wear
the dress I bought for it - before lockdown, just had to wait for the re-arranged date.
Lots of local shows plus the brilliant |Sarah Millican in Canterbury.
Biggest one to come is the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in August, another log trip ahead.
All thats without a few family parties over the past few months. Plus of course shopping
for new outfits to wear - well cant be seen twice in the same thing .....

Yes I had a lovely day, mostly with my wonderful children and grand children,
Jan 21,, This lockdown is getting very boring now, like everybody just
wondering how much longer it will last.
Biggest problem seems to be online shopping, at the moment cant get enough of it.
Have lots of new clothes, and plenty to go to charity, even been buying shoes
no chance of wearing them but just felt the need to be ready when the time comes.
One day we shall be free to meet up and party - sooner the better.
Even my cruise booked for May os now cancelled. It gets worse.

Am now totally full time as Karen, no ifs and buts, no days off.
Gradually changed over the past few years to become who I am today.
Have always been grateful to my sister by choice, Mandy. Putting me right when I got it wrong
I now have a great crowd of friends, very many of whom are outside the tgirl stream.
Spend sometime almost every week out lunching, definitely a lady who lunches.
Live my life as a normal woman, could.nt do it any other way now.
Including a couple of weeks holiday in Teneriffe last summer, all I need now is a
lottery win so I can go on the cruise I would love.
I am most decidely a blonde, and 5'7 with blue eyes. Yes a bit overweight, but I am currentky
down half a size, so pushing for the other half before th summer arrives.
