Have had a couple of nights out in Edinburgh recently, first with sexyangietgirl for a very civilised drinks and chat avoiding the loud bars so we could chat, just lovely to be out again.

Went with Claire to see Gill at http://makeovergirl.co.uk/ for a make up lesson/reminder then off to Preston for a wander round the shops and lunch in M&S. So nice to be back out and about and thanks to Claire for company and Gill for the support. X

Last Friday out in Edinburgh with the Sinwaxing girls. Instead of hitting the pink triangle we went to bar near the salon and they could not have been nicer, lovely chilled evening. If youโre thinking about peeking round the closet door SinsDollhouse and the girls would be happy to help. Reasonable prices too.

LFF with the Sinwaxing girls SinsDollhouse, great fun and I love wandering for bar to bar although I am going to search out a quieter option, getting too old for the banging tunes! sinrobertson are having another get together in Edinburgh on May 31st, its on the events list. Its a lovely night in a safe place with very nice people, I would say that, I'll be there! C'mon along!!

Thanks to Sam, Kashia and Kath at Sinwaxing in Edinburgh for a fun evening out on the town. The girls are offering dressing and makeover over services and would love to get something established in Edinburgh for tgirls. They are super friendly, a good laugh and well worth supporting. Also if you have ever wanted to get waxed, go see them, cannot recommend them highly enough. Any questions drop me a note.

Fiona came to visit and we ticked off a number of festival shows. Having never really been out in Edinburgh it seemed like the perfect opportunity to get it done. Booked a restaurant, Cafe nom de Plume in Broughton St., very friendly and good food and wine, and wandered over to Cafe Habana for a drink before catching a taxi home. Lovely, civilised evening, now just need to do more of it!

Well, that's another Miss TV Scotland over and done with and I rather wish we do it again next weekend. It is a brilliant event, well organised, lovely people attending and the staff at the hotel joining in the fun. If you, like me until 2 years ago ,have not been sign up now for next year.. people come from all over Britain and Ireland and further afield too. I cannot recommend MTVS enough, it is fabulous! 6โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ!!! Really cannot wait till next year.

Doncha just hate it when work gets in the way of dressing time!
I went to sparkle in Manchester for the 2nd time in July and came home just buzzing and wanting to dress all the time. Didn't happen, work got very busy, sent me off all around the country, but not able to take Karen with me.
But things have got a little quieter, so am back in the girlie groove :x
Bought 2 Jane Norman dresses in the House of Fraser sale, (they fit!!) so that might be the outfits sorted for LFF in September and October. Then its not long to Miss TV Scotland at the end of the month :)
Looking forward to catching up with people soon

Back from hibernation and off to Leeds FF. To get back in the groove I went today to have a makeover from AJ_Elle in her lovely studio in Edinburgh. Very relaxed and also instructive, (Thanks A) and I was very pleased with the results and we did lots of pictures! Highly recommended, pictures to follow.

6.8.15 Had a wonderful afternoon with Gordon at the makeover rooms in Liverpool. He is a magician, obviously, to make me look like this. Very relaxed and chatty and also educational. I wanted to learn more about how to apply make up and I feel way more confident about it now. Whether I can recreate the look remains to be seen! Don't even think about it just go and have fun.
13.7.15 Well that was my first Sparkle, doubt it will be the last! Added a few pics to the flickr page. A few firsts as I waited for the lift on Friday evening I realised that I was about to go out dressed in daylight for the first time, too late to chicken out so off i went. On leaving the hotel I had to wait for the lights to change to cross the road and on the way up to Canal street had to pass a busy bar with lots of people sitting outside. It was pretty warm. Didn't catch anyones eye and heard not comments, not even a positive one :( Was out for dinner dressed every night and was in the park on Saturday and Sunday. Didn't turn to dust may not be a vampire after all!!
Great to meet everybody over the days and night especially to Kim and Julia for allowing me to join the posse, thanks also for their company to Sarah, Liz, Emma, Yvonne, Stella, Mel and Jenny, hope every one has a safe trip home and see you soon.
4.7.15 Soi this time next weekend I'll be at Sparkle. I booked the hotel ages ago so I got a good deal. Feel like am a bit out of practice, haven't had much of an opportunity to dress recently, so if you meet me please be kind! Am staying at the Ibis on Princess St in Manchester so if anyone else is staying there and wants company on the totter to Canal St get in touch. Hope to see you there.
21.11.14 Great to catch up with Claire, Sarah, Mel, Rachel and others in Glasgow, Couple of glasses of wine at the hotel room before heading for Delmonicas and the Polo. Last night out for a while which is a shame because its been fun recently. But, as they say, I'll be back!
20.11.14 Out again tomorrow in Glasgow, 3 times in 10 days!
15.11.14 this is getting to be a habit! Was out in Glasgow last night, out twice in one week!! Went to the Underground and Speakeasy with, Mel, Ellie and Rachel. Was great to be out on a "non event" night in Glasgow. Very relaxed if a bit loud, met lots of nice people and didn't get home till 5am.
12.11.14 Went down to Manchester for the evening and had a lovely time on Canal St. The to Mary and all at Manchester Concord for making me welcome and to Rachel and Tina for taking me out. Will be back though a little less wine next time!
What a great weekend, thank you all for making Miss TV Scotland great, met lots of new people, drank a little too much on Friday night, loved how glam everyone looked on Saturday night. (I'll draw a veil over the quiz result, suffice to say that were robbed by people who know more than us). Roll on next year!!

Out for the second time in a week, more or less. This time in Glasgow, at the Riding rooms and the Polo.
Really nice to see everyone, including Shona (thank you), Jodie and Shona (the other one) Susan, Stephanie, Jasmine Susie, and sorry if I didn't get a chance to chat.
Time for the annual update! Flippin' heck where did that year go.??
I was back at LFF last weekend and once again it was fab great to see everyone and I made it till almost 3am, which is pretty much a record for me.
A couple more potential events coming up so hope to see more people out and about. To echo what everyone else has said, if you are worried about going out, go to Leeds. It's fun, safe and there is always someone to chat to and take you to he hot spots.

Its taken another year but I got over the threshold of the house again!!
Was in Leeds last night and had a really good time, chatting, drinking, wandering around in heels...
Its so well attended and it was great to be one of so many girls. I enjoyed chatting to lots of people and am sure I will be back again soon, in fact have already looked at the possibility of going back in November....no stopping me now....yeah right!
Well its taken 30 yrs but I finally made it out!
Everybody told me ,when i was boring the pants off them about being scared to go out, that once you got out the door it was be easy! I have to tell you they were right dammit!!
Last night at the Polo lounge was great, met so many people I have chatted to or seen online, everyone was very friendly, not just the chixters but I was chatting to people at the bar, in the loo.......it felt very easy and natural.
So if you are thinking about going out and like me are (were) scared to death, find out when there is another night at the Polo, get a hotel nearby and go for it. i will see you there!

Been ages since I posted an update here. So here goes....
Have taken the plunge and booked a room so that I can go the Glasgow Night Out at the end of October! This will be my first night so if you see, be me be kind or you might see me running away sobbing! Be great to chat with anyone going before the event because I know I am going to be very nervous and will all the help i can get but its another step along the way and something I have to do sometime, and its Halloween too so there should be a lot of distractions!. Will let you know how it goes

took advantage of staying in the country for the evening to sneak past the other houses partly dressed, found a quiet spot and put my hair on and slipped into a skirt and heels, felt very brave.

A morning at home and by way of a change, got dressed in broad daylight...shock, horror. Wandered onto the landing of the flat and went down stairs a little, felt very brave, took a little video and posted some stills here, apologies for the quality.

Well after ** years of solo dressing with the very occaisional trip to dressing services, L and I finally had our first meet (for both of us). A very pleasent evening ensued with too much wine consumed and the obligatory stroll down the corridor at 3:30 in the morning! Thanks L.xx

July 09. After much on line persuation fron L (thanks) i made it out of the flat down 2 flights of stairs and onto the street. Nerve failed and I came back in almost immediately. But to be topical "its one small step".
