Crumbs! No update here for almost six years! Mind you, the last two years don't count do they? It still feels like 2020 hasn't started yet. Hopefully (written December 21) we're over the worst of it and only a few months to go before we're back to some kind of normal.
Had a couple of trips to Blackpool since lockdown. Great to see everyone again :-)

Not written anything here for ages! Dear diary... :-) Nicely into a routine of going to Blackpool about every six to eight weeks. Had a run of 'compliments', where I got talking to people who said they had been stood next to me at the bar and still not realised I was t- which considering the bar is only about 6ft long, I'm happy with! :-) If only I could hide my voice. One g-girl said that she was stood next to me when I spoke to someone else and she was looking around, wondering where the bloke was [LOL!] and on my last trip, a woman asked me if I was the landlord's wife! Great to get away for a few days and just be me.

Had my first visit to Blackpool in AGES! It was so nice to be able to chill out and relax for the weekend. Visited with a female friend and we just stayed in the hotel and let the world pass us by for a couple of days!

I'd considered telling my sister about Kath for a long time, years in fact. On Monday 14th January 2013 I did just that. She was delighted and said "I always wanted a big sister!" We went out for dinner and had a great time.
May '12
Had a lovely few days in Blackpool. Friday 4th May was particularly memorable. I went to Boots for a make-over, then in the evening had a superb evening at The Flying Handbag. Met some superb people and just generally enjoyed myself. I also met Steph while in Blackpool, who is a lovely person. Can't wait to do it all again soon!
March '12.
Bought a rubbish bin. Yes, that's what shopping has come to, buying a rubbish bin. But it had clips! I played the 'damsel in distress' card and asked the guy I'd been chatting with at breakfast if he'd mind coming with me to carry it back from town to the hotel. I have to concentrate enough just to walk right without carrying a bin! So no nice new clothing, make-up or GKNY perfume on this shopping trip, just a black rubbish bin from Wilkinsons!

Just ended my first trip out of 2012. Saturday to Wednesday en-femme. Met up with a couple of g-girl friends from Birmingham. Together we went shopping and out for dinners etc. Drank too much wine at lunch times and so repeatedly failed to get out in the evenings! :-) Great fun!

It's becoming so normal going out in Blackpool that it feels... well... normal! :-) I've been out a few times since the last update. The hotel I stay in so often now, I even have my own 'regular' room and they are apologetic if it has already been allocated when I book. The details for The Moore's Hotel are lower down in this profile. If you want a clean, cheap and very friendly B&B in Blackpool, here is the place to go. And if you are a shy t-girl, it's a great place to safely spread your wings.

Long weekend, 18th to 22nd March. Friday was a night out with a couple of other t-girls, Sunday was a night out with a couple of g-girls. Monday... exhausted!
Well, I can now join the ranks of 'out there girls' after my first day light shopping trip! :-) A Saturday lunch time in Blackpool is hardly a quiet time, where I could hide away either! Especially enjoyed Debenhams where the lovely shop assistant approached me an the g-girl I was with and said "can I help you ladies?" Well, she could have sold me ANYTHING after that! A great weekend!
Just had another couple of nights at The Moore's Hotel in Blackpool. Sadly I just missed another girl who left as I arrived, oh well, next time?
So 2010 is about to bid fair-well. From my first 'proper' public outing in February 2010 where I had a great night but was almost messing my knickers to going out, on my own and shopping in November, really not caring what the world thought, it has been a fantastic year! Merry Christmas to the couple of people who I've met in the real world and to the select few who I've e-mailed through the year (or more to the point, the ones who took the time to e-mail back!)
Had a great night out in Blackpool at the start of October. On the recommendation of one of the girls here, I stayed at The Moores Hotel- 42 Bank St ( Corner of Lord St ). Blackpool. FY1 2BE. Tel No 01253 623638. Thanks for the heads up on that one Louise! It's an 'everyone friendly' hotel rather than specifically t-friendly and in fact everyone else there that night were either single or straight couples. I met with one of the couples in the bar, got chatting and then the three of us went out, taking one of the owners with us. Great night and HUGE hangover! Kept in touch with the couple so hopefully we'll have a repeat some time!
For the first time in ages I had the chance to spend some 'quality time' as Kath, booking a couple of nights in a nice apartment in Manchester. I tried contacting a few people to see if anyone fancied a night out but didn't manage to sort anything at short notice, so just stayed in and, of course, took far too many photos while drinking excessive amounts of red wine! Sent a few e-mails out to people who didn't reply, which is frustrating. I don't know if it is because I make it clear that I'm looking to make friends with g-girls rather than have sex or what? Perhaps it's simply because they are so in demand that they are overwhelmed??? If you are a g-girl who is roughly North West ish, who is looking for friendly girlie chats and nights in or out, then please say hello!
Had a lovely night out in Manchester, with a guy... which was a bit of a shock!
But it was all friendly stuff and he is a perfect gentleman (well... he is with me, he's clearly not a perfect gentleman when he's with girls who don't want him to be!) Can't wait for another night out but the problem with living in a quiet place and only being out & about when I'm away from home is the confidence sinks back down between trips. :-(

I was nervous even phoning them to make a booking. I needn't have been, the whole time I was there I was treated not only with the utmost respect but more than that, Paul & Steph actively encouraged me to go out beyond their walls and in to Blackpool. If you are a 'shy trannie' then I *REALLY* recommend this as a place to go to make your first step put. On the Friday, I just stayed in the hotel bar and had a lovely relaxed evening. Saturday I finally went out, escorted (dragged???) by Amiee, (who is lovely btw!) Sunday morning and after Kath had breakfast, I had a pleasant day until eventually it was time to pack away.
I did have a series of 'getting to know you' e-mails with a g-girl and we arranged to meet. She even told me which hotel to book in Preston that was 'handy' for her. She didn't turn up or answer my texts/e-mails that night and hasn't even attempt a lame excuse as to why she'd stood me up. Rather ironic, given she'd made a point of saying previously how much she dislikes time wasters! She's not been in touch since, even though she's still on here. Ah well, what ever gets you through the night.
So, I'm still hoping to meet up with and become friends with a g-girl for wine & chocs and a girlie natter, perhaps build my confidence, perhaps eventually get out & about. I'm not looking for sex, although I must admit that if a g-girl ever made a move on me I'd probably have the breaking strain of a Kit-Kat... ;-) But sex is certainly not the primary motivator.
I'm a registered nurse (psychiatric) by profession, so any screwed up girls out there who need a girlfriend's shoulder to cry on, I'm your guy... err, girl...
Public outings for Kath are likely to be restricted to Manchester or Blackpool.
