I guess one of the most beautiful things about being in this community is meeting the friends I have now made, their diverse personalities and different motivations has opened up a whole new perspective on life for me.
I have always thought tolerance was an important quality but it’s probably the one that society struggle with the most. Especially when it’s something they don’t understand.
I was chatting with a male friend who is aware i dress and is very understanding but he made a comment which I thought was due to a lack of understanding. I tried to explain to him his comment was a little bit of a blanket statement and that in any community as in vanilla life you have a plethora of opinions.
How ever his point was that every one should have the right to say what they want regardless of orientation. But he felt that some communities thought they should be heard above others. I do agree that everyone should have a voice but if you have never had a strong voice in past. (Trans Community) sometimes there is a need to shout loudly to make your presence felt. Do i think I’m this person, no definitely not as I’m still finding out everything about myself. But i have certainly met many on here which is a positive for our society.
I have found varying degree of tolerance even on here but I think we all have our place and its not for me to judge what you feel is right or even wrong for that matter. If we didn’t have polar opinions wouldn’t life be boring.
So what is the meaning of life! Well i guess that’s entirely up to who and what you are. I was unaware until stumbling across this site that our community existed and was so diverse and colourful. So in essence I feel like my life has started again after accepting who and what!
So many colourful and diverse people, from all walks of life. We all embrace our need in varying ways but inevitably we all share one desire, to be the best we can of our selves.
So I just wanted to thank all the lovely girls and a few guys (sorry still not my thing) for the lovely conversations, support when you have a challenge around dressing and above all kindness I have been shown.
I have been dressing most of my life on and off but in recent years started to dress more frequently as i feel most at home this way.
I am looking for liked minded gurls to chat, dress up together, evening out, just to have fun as life is to short.
I am only a short little thing which is why i do like my heels, usually brunette but have been known to be a redhead on occasion. Athletic build, dark brown eyes and usually tanned skin as i work outside alot. But not a builder lol, no offence to any builder though.
