I'm a cross dresser living in Wellington, New Zealand. Probably half a world away from you. I've been cross dressing since I was old enough to get into my Mum's make up. My parents were super liberal, so aside from being annoyed because make up is expensive, they didn't really mind. And best of all there were frocks in the dress-up box. My favourite was a yellow summer dress with flowers printed on it.
Update - although there is a cigarette in the photo, I have quit! I've been smoke free all of 2012 (that photo was taken Nov 2011)
But I digress, I like dressing, and I like playing make believe. This, my female alter ego, lets me indulge in both.
I have a love of all things mid-century, the design aesthetic, the optimism, the space race, and most especially the cold war. Ah yes, the cold war, it wasn't a lot of fun growing up under the shadow of the bomb, but at least one knew where she stood. We were good, the reds were bad and that was that. Life nowadays is so much more complicated.
I have kept a blog on and off for years, though my pet project at present is a YouTube chat show. I've only produced a single episode to date, but since I set up a studio in our basement you can be assured there will be more.
I like cooking, collecting home hints, cuddle time with my lovely cat Sophie.
I'm 6 foot tall, well maybe taller in heels and my signature black beehive. Hazel eyes. Somewhat manly build, with my shoulders I'd make a great farmers wife!
I wear full make up, lots of contouring and highlighting to bring out my bone structure. I've stopped wearing false eyelashes since they make my eyes look closed in photos, so lots of mascara, eye shadow, and liquid eye-liner in the 1960s style.
I go for a 60's look with my clothes, lots of block colour and geometric patterns. Long opera gloves are also a favourite of mine.
I'm looking for a partner who thinks it's good for a man to be a woman some of the time.
