I've had a change of name. I was Decisive Poppy, and that suited who I was. But "she" has grown and evolved so much in the last 12 months that I felt the name didn't fully suit who I'd become. Plus, for some reason, I was never fully comfortable introducing myself as Poppy. I know it's all an illusion, but I've learnt it isn't a mask. It still comes from within. So I'm now Leah. A name I like and I'm super comfortable with. Xxx
Heading out into London proper for the 1st time 16th November with the lovely ladies who organised the Covent Garden quest. Daytime out dressed is a done deal now. I'm super comfortable with that. Heading out into town with all the muggles was a bigger step, but I made it! And loved every minute. Off out again in February
London - Last weekend in June 24 - It was awesome. Boundaries were pushed, confidence was gained, and an around great weekend was had. Met a new (and very lovely) friend - I say met, we almost met. Just a few DLR stations apart, but it boosted us both to be out. Next time xx
Dec23 Update - I've been spending some time in London to get some decent dressing time in. I find I can go out, dressed up and no one cares! Nails done, full makeup, handbag, heels... It's quite liberating. Anyway, it would be good to make some friends down south. I normally stay around Canary Wharf/Limehouse. If my location says London, that's where I'll be. Otherwise I'll be back home as a northern tart xx

It's kinda good to be back. I've been here before when I was younger and fresher, but nowhere near as good with the make-up! When made up I consider myself as 'alright' looking. I'd definitely look twice put it that way! Probably to think "why the hell is he/she wearing so much makeup?" - still, it's what I love and I do it for me.
I came off here at the start of lockdown as the world became a strange kinda place. Little time to dress, lots of time for online shopping etc, but nowhere to enjoy being me. I didn't want to get drawn into anything or feel frustrated so came away for a break. And as many of you will have done before me, returned with a vengeance armed with newer underwear, bolder lipsticks, and an overwhelming sense of 'f**k it, I enjoy it so I'm doing it'
I tend to dress as if it's party time. I have no desire to dress everyday, nor do I have the time, so when I dress up I go all out. Fully shaved, matching lingerie, toes painted, nails glued on, false eyelashes, perfume, heels, the works. Then sit around for bit as I've no one really to share this with. My wife knows about all of these shenanigans, and has always been very supportive. It's a challenge for both of us at times, but clear boundaries have always helped.
As girls go I'm on the tall side. As guys go, I'm still tall just without heels.
I asked myself why I'm here, and the honest answer is I don't know. I just know I want something. Friendship, understanding, appreciated.
For the majority of the time my hair lives in the bag it came in from Amazon. My eyes are relatively normal, until I've made them shimmer and sparkle with lashings of mascara. I'm definitely not a feminine build. A corset helps create some shape and it has the added bonus of feeling awesome. 5" heels are just plain silly for walking in, but that doesn't stop me buying them. Just got some red patent knee high boots, which are awesome.
