Hi my name is Melissa I've been a closet TV since I was a small boy and have always loved dressing but lack the experience to look good. I'm here to look and chat and maybe come to terms with the guilt I feel over wanting to dress as a girl. I'm 5ft 8 around 12 and a half stone, brown hair (OK OK it's more grey than brown) brown eyes.
In other news, I've managed to tick off another little thing I felt I needed to do, after years of denying I wanted a tattoo (all in my own head I must add cos people just don't care in general and why should they?) I finally got my Tinkerbell tattoo, shout out to Jess at Toxic Tattoo in St Leonards-on-sea. I love it and like most people am planning my next tattoo.
So it's been a while since my last post, I would love to say I've moved on a lot in my transition but it's slow going since the waiting lists are sooooooooo long, via the NHS that is and sadly I don't have a huge bag of gold under my bed.. but I have had 8 sessions of laser hair removal on my face, and although it doesn't work of grey/white hair I don't have any trouble with a five o'clock shadow, so that's something, I do still have to shave daily as I have a lot of grey/white hair (should have done this a decade ago) I've also had eyeliner tattooed on so not exactly Tinkerbelle but I'm pleased with it. I've also been growing my hair and had my first salon visit to have the split ends tidied up and some highlights added.
Things have settled down at work and my colleagues have been fantastic, very supportive and all the girls take the time to say nice things and comment on my clothing choices. I still have my meltdown days and have had trouble leaving the house at times, but I'm hoping that will pass. My only real regret so far is to not have done this years ago, but I guess I just wasn't ready then.
My goals for this year are a legal name change to Melissa and hormones...
Goal number 1 met, I've sent off my deed poll and D1 form for a new drivers license with Miss Melissa on it and a new pic (not a great pic..lol) then the tedious tasks of letting all the other organisations know.
Since coming out at work I've been a bit of an emotional wreck, my first day was full of tears, tears in the car to work, tears getting out of the car and then when I finally made it to work I hid behind my monitor quietly avoiding everyone. I was about to start crying again and just walk out when Sally and old work colleague spotted me and came over to rescue me, then Danielle from my team came over and then my dearest friend Louise came to support me, and my deputy Sam came to sit with me for the rest of the day. so my first day was not so good but improved throughout the day and my second day was much better. My name has been officially changed at work and people are trying their utmost to remember to use Melissa/Mel everything at work has been great and the ladies at work are the best.

OK super exciting news, I've come out at work and made my intentions known that I intend to transition, I've had nothing but support so it's been great. over the coming weeks I will begin to make changes to my wardrobe and try to present as more feminine.
Ok What's new with me, well I got my ears pierced again two in each ear so that's four in each so far...lol Tattoo is next on my radar, I want a Tinkerbelle somewhere.
I'm about to be outed at work so to speak, my entire building will be made aware of my intension to transition at least socially at this point, I've registered with the Tavistok but frankly the waiting lists are so bad I may die before I get seen. I've picked out some sensible work wear for when the news breaks, conservative trousers and shirts/blouses so I'm both excited and scared shitless in equal measure. AND I went and got my eyebrows waxed and a tint patch test done so in a month I can get them shaped and tinted.
Wow thank you all for your birthday wishes, I spent a lovely evening with my family and enjoyed a nice meal.
Not Updated in a little while so here goes I've met another couple of girls from here the lovely Abbeygailgirl, we met in the park going undercover masquerading as boys and on another occasion back at her house for an afternoon of girly chat and a little dressing, she is lovely and I look forward to seeing her again soon.
I've also met the lovely Bea for an evening of chat, again we went undercover as boys but she was lovely and had a great evening, and would love to meet up again.
Most recently I've been away at Chateaux Femme in Bournemouth for a GARDEN PARTY of all things, thirteen girls all dressed up to the nines enjoying a whole day of dresses, food and girly chat, It was a truly wonderful day (didn't leave till midnight) and the whole day was fabulous I would recommend Susie at Chateaux Femme every day of the week, She's truly lovely. We had great food, copious amounts of wine and some fun party games, was a truly lovely experience and so great to meet so many girls, sharing origin stories etc. I've uploaded more pics of that day but be warned I loved my red polka dot dress sooooo much I didn't want to change despite having multiple options throughout the day.
After a long time I've started dressing again and have had several fantastic dressing days.
In January I spent the day with the lovely Susie from Chateaux Femme, a whole day of girlie chat and make up tips oh and so many pretty dresses, an experience I plan to replicate later in the year.
hyped up on that experience I visited the lovely SisterHyde and spent another day swapping stories and experiences almost as quickly as I swapped pretty dresses.
Most recently I've spent another wonderful day with the lovely Sasha Fox at ALEXISANDSASHA for more girlie chat, more make up tips and more self exploration, oh and lots of, yes you guessed it, pretty dresses.
From never having spoken to another Tgirl and never really shared Melissa with anyone but my GF (who is also wonderful) I feel I've grown as Melissa in such a short time, all three of my dressing day experiences have given me a new insight into Melissa and Sasha really challenged my thinking and made me re evaluate a few things.
I've chatted with some fabulous Tgirls on here and find I'm no longer alone in the dark with my dressing.
I've met up with the lovely Alisontv_uk in person and shared an afternoon of dressing and makeup fun, the first time in my life of knowingly spending time with a Tgirl, and she is a truly wonderful and generous person.
I've met the adorable Abbeygailgirl for coffee in the park (in drab but still, I did have my nails painted) and later in month Abbeygail and I had tea at her lovely home, such a lovely afternoon.
I'm hoping to "meet" more Tgirls in the coming year to experience even more.
so little time so many pretty dresses.
So a quick update for August 2025 and oh my a lot has happened, met up again with Alisontv_uk for another fun afternoon of dressing and girly gossip. Then another visit to the sensational Susie at Chateau Femme, I can't recommend her enough, for another dressing day this time in the company of another tgirl Mandy, had a super fun day dressing in so may wonderful outfits and a rather racy black pvc corset and super cute skirt, I loved the outfit sooo much I almost didn't want to change. AAAANNNND This Saturday I'm going to London as Melissa (hopefully) with a wonderful female work colleague Louise who is going to take me to the Friends Experience in London so I'm hoping for some pic of that event.
