13 September, 2026 - I have obviously been approved so back in the land of the living. Life is strange, sometimes the things that you hope won’t happen are what you actually need to change things for the better physically and emotionally.
When people found out that my friend was no longer in my life, the invitations for coffee, lunches, live music venues started to come in. Yesterday had my nails re-coloured and out for late afternoon coffee with my good friend, manicurist extraordinary, for deep chats, hugs, kisses and arranging for a facial next week.
And now going to the gay-owned bar which is about 5 minutes walk from my house, live music venue, going there with straight musician chums.
Still working, Museum in Cartagena and organising drumming music-therapy sessions for severely disabled, nobody cares how red my toe-nails are or how painted and glossy my finger-nails are though my hands need protection whilst working.

20 September ….. out for a white night’ of music with chums at my local gay-owned bar last evening. My new white shirt/blouse from H & M, very light pants, Converse white shoes and a full range of white underwear and stockings. O a couple of positive comments, the ankle bracelets sort of drew attention to the stockings, LOTS of hugs and bisous from my female friends, lots of music being played and still home a tad after midnight, closes at 12.00 and a five-minute walk home. No music next week but may just wander in to chat with the regulars.
26 September, 2026: Back in touch with the Costa T-Girls and a couple of admirers. Going to see a chum playing at a restaurant in a couple of weeks, about and hour away so booked into a hotel for a couple of nights to meet up with the girls, make over and an evening out, hopefully sensible and naughty. Second evening at gig, hopefully first time completely out in front of other chums.
In the mean time, the local gay bar gets more interesting ….
