7 years since I put on a dress for the first time.
Last year I was included in the FT HERoes list of top 100 women supporting women in business.
I have just started a new fulltime role as Head of Growth for a Global 500 firm. I got the role BECAUSE I’M TRANS (well and also because I’m a good sales coach!)
I’m now living in London Monday to Friday and speak regularly about Diversity & Inclusion and the Trans role as litmus test for D&I. I’m passionate about women (all of us) and the need to change society.
I have successfully transitioned my life and my business without any surgery, hormones or trauma; either physical or emotional. I’m still happily married and love every minute of every day that I get to be the woman of my dreams.
I’m here to help any of you who are on this journey. I don’t have the “Normal” trans story so don’t expect advice you can get from others. But if you want to make it work and not mess up your life or you just want to look and act feminine without surgery or hormones… look me up.

Presented as female every work day for a year
launched new website with all the videos of me as a male removed

Entered Alternate Miss London.. came last (as I always do!)
Raised 1000 for trans charities
Finished Prey (book) and almost finished a rewrite of my first book about presentation but now in my female voice!
Love my life.. all of it.

So it has been exactly 3 years since I first put on a dress. And what an amazing 3 years it has been, check out my website www.niccitake.com, my 90 min standup show "PREY" the book thats launching this month also called "PREY".
I have been paid to perform standup as Nicci, present to business groups as Nicci and have been approached about a reality TV show (God I love that joke!).
Last week on a night out in Sydney Aus, 16 people told me I was beautiful and 2 inspirational..
I'm happier than I have ever been my business are more successful than they have ever been and my life is perfect... all because I crossdressed at the office party... and discovered who I was always meant to be.
The best of both worlds, Nick when he's needed, Nicci when she's wanted, Me all the time

Update June 2014
OMG its been a year...
So.. I am now out as girl almost every night that I am away from home. Which is a lot. Im away 3 weeks out of 4 so 10 nights a month. I'm either on stage doing my stand up routine or out with friends. highlights are: Kinky Boots in NYC.. I was the only transwoman not on stage.. I had to change on the flight to NYC and cleared Immigration fully dressed but with only my eye make up on.. finished the rest in the taxi on the way into the theatre. Had no problems, in fact the immigration officer wanted to know how to do a smokey eye.. lol. routinely now get the train to London from Liverpool boarding as a boy departing as a girl. I have a regular slot at the Top Secret Comedy Club the last wednesday of the month.
Still love going out as a girl with the girls.. Still happy to meet and go out with anybody anywhere as long as its somewhere fun. Been to LFF, going to Sparkle (performing at Poptastic saturday night)
Generally loving life, both sides of it.

Thought I should update this..
I have now been dressing for 6 months (March 2013 was my first outing with the girls), been out lots. 4 times with real girls for nights out 10 times or so with other T-grls in London (Trannyshack, Teds place, Wotever club) and out on my own in LA, NYC, Ft Lauderdale, Chicago, etc
Performed standup in Drag now over 20 times, got on the Train in Brussels as a boy got off in london as a girl.. (customs in kings cross was a laugh) flown from Florida to Pittsburg via Atlanta as a girl (TSA were very cool)
Performed once in a Drag Bar, Hosted a Drag Wars competition (florida)
Shopped in daylight in London, LA, NYC
Had my makeup done at midday on a saturday at the MAC counter in Macys on 5th Ave
and I've been asked to do real girl makeup for them for major nights out 4 times so far..
Oh and did I mention I fu$%^ng love going out..

I'm a 40 year old married father of 2. I'm tired of being in charge and playing a male role all the time. I like to dress and go out I love the vulnerability and the power it gives me. Unless I open my mouth I pass as a large girl (size 22) people open doors for me taxi drivers call me "love".
I'm not looking for sex and I don't do this to get off. I'm looking for girl friends who want to talk makeup clothes feelings and emotions. I don't care if they are genetic girls or like me.
I maybe a girl who has to spend most of her life pretending to be a man. And I'm fed up of it.
