I had to leave Chix a while ago. And then I had to come back... It's the enormous attraction of dressing which dragged (sic) me back into a pair of Gio Susan-heeled nylons which is to blame and a massive sense of relief which accompanied it after a lockdown spent in puritanical, heremitic isolation. Why did I wait till V-Day? Why not Day 1, Lockdown 1? Who knows, but alongside the rush of slipping on stockings came the rush to rejoin Chix.
