Hi – my name is Chris – I’m 6’ 2” tall and over 60 years old. I’ve been secretly cross dressing for as long as I can remember with some long periods of not doing it (well not much anyway). I live near Yeovil in Somerset.

I like to dress tarty with a corset, stockings and heels when sensible. I’ve been out recently dressed up – but in a more dressed down fashion. Being so tall I’m used to being looked at whatever I wear. When I’m in the right headspace I’m ok – I found that if people look directly at me and make eye contact then I smile and say hi – this normally either puts people at ease – which is great, and we might chat or whatever - or they look away embarrassed.
I found that it’s best to creep up on going out dressed up – and not going out dressed like a drag queen (but fine if that’s your thing). I have been gradually adding more feminine stuff to what I wear to build up confidence. I’m fairly slim - around the typical weight for my height – 13 stone 8 ish – flat stomach . So I usually wear leggings and men’s boots and long dress type jumpers. I have long white hair in a kind of bun / ponytail.
I recently went out around Bristol Harbourside in the evening wearing a just below the knee black dress, long black jumper - tights and low heel court shoes. I found it thrilling – I went into cafes and generally strolled around. I figured if I dressed average – no bright colours or odd clothes to make me stand out – most people wouldn’t notice me or particularly care – which was mostly the case.
In my young days I wanted to be a girl – but later realised I just like dressing feminine occasionally. So I’m not bothered about trying to pass as a woman – I won’t. I just appear as a hopefully “pleasantly interesting” looking man.
I do wonder though – if I was of medium height I would probably have dressed up more often and maybe gone further.
I’ve been mostly doing this in private – I did have a partner some years ago who loved what I did, and she would sometimes wear male clothes – but we didn’t work too well in other areas. So I’m hoping to meet up with other people to hang out together in a club etc , or maybe find someone to walk along a seafront together with, chat and be happy.
Some boring stuff: I’m a retired hardware / software systems engineer. I play various musical instruments mostly guitar and keyboards – in folk and prog rock bands. I’m fairly fit – can basically fix anything .
So there you are – I basically love dressing in women’s clothes and want to meet others for fun and maybe more.
