Having no key card for the room was embarrassing, the makeover artist not showing up on LFF caused panic, satnav problem on trip to Brighton was very frustrating but lockdown for months now? Come on, give me a break!!!!!!
The fates seem to be conspiring against Roberta being en femme.
When I booked into the Hilton in Manchester for the Sparkle weekend, their card reader was not working and every time I wanted to return to my room, I had to be escorted. I was not brave enough to be transformed into Roberta and then try to convince reception that I was the same person who had checked-in in drab. I did not get my card until 6 pm. Thankfully, I was able to get a makeover at 7 pm.
When I went to Brighton, I was delayed in departing and I put the wrong address in my SatNav. I did not arrive until after 9 pm on Friday and was so shattered, I just went to bed. Saturday was a much better day, en femme all day and travelled home en femme on the Sunday.
Went to Leeds First Friday and had a makeover planned for 3 pm. At 2 pm I was called to say the makeover was cancelled due to illness. I could have cried. I just slapped on some foundation and lipstick and went anyway but not nearly as glamorous as I had hoped. Saying that, I did meet some new people. Unfortunately, I did not get any names or contact details - especially the charming gentleman who cheered me up at the end of the night. I may give LFF another try.
Had a fantastic weekend in Brighton and now I have booked into the Cosmopolitan in Leeds for LFF on 1st November. Looking forward to being out and about again. Hope to meet new friends.
Booked into the Hilton Doubletree in Manchester for Sparkle on 13 July.

Just had another day dressed by Jacquelines. Had shaved my body but Jacqueline waxed my legs. Think I must get waxed all over - it feels great! Love my new yellow dress and wig - just wish I could get dressed more often.
But it is really tiring trying to find someplace to try them and then quickly get changed back before people miss me. And I cannot do my makeup like Kelayla so I cannot show the real girlie me. It is so frustrating.
Just had a great day with Kelayla. The whole experience was relaxing and I cannot believe the transformation she made in me. This was my first time having make up applied and I can now see the possibilities for how I might look. I had never seen myself as a blonde but the look was to die for. Cannot wait to get the pictures to share with you.
I am 5' 7", 11st (need to lose a couple of stone to feel better about myself), blue eyes brown hair, thinning. In my youth I was considered handsome but age is having its effect.
