I'm a fiftysomething lifelong TV/TG, based in Ireland the UK .
I had a very long profile here but it was beginning to look too much like a blog and was ridiculously hard to keep up with.
On the personal level, suffice to say that I have an 'interesting' life.
I'm 5' 10" tall in stockinged feet, slim, of athletic build blue eyed, have mode-ish shoulder length chestnut coloured hair, great legs a fab sense of humour and just love showing off how feminine I have become.
I'm delighted to receive 'constructive criticism as to my image and appearance which enables me to focus on my femininity more successfully.
At my age style is all important, and I dress for my age so expect to see elegant stockinged legs, sober well cut knee length skirts, medium height heels and elegant daywear rather than the 'Britney' look.
I do enjoy male and female company and am ladylike in demeanor as well as in appearance.
I'm not really looking for anything other than friendship and friendly intimacy. I have a partner who is very happy with my Trans identity and who has her own particular 'interests and predelictions' so while we both enjoy our own separate liaisons we're quite happy together and I won't be running away with you no matter how hunky or gorgeous you are.
That said - I do fantasise as to what it would be like to be 'the girlfriend' or 'wife' and have often thought it would be lovely to be a cossetted and spoilt princess!!!! (well we all have our fancies!!).

Progress Report:
Great phrase that. It conjures up images of efficiency, promptness, energy and diligence.
Well as those of you who know me will be painfully aware, very few of those superlatives can be applied to me. It's been ages since I put my thoughts down and provided any kind of info on my life and I'm really not bothering to update photos either here or on Flickr.
To be honest I'm somewhat ambivalent about doing so these days and my day to day life is busy and fulfilling without posting up every photo and thought.
On occasion though it occurs to me that I should be a little more open and vent the occasional whimsy.
And a Gripe:
In this instance its humiliation and submission.
It's bugging me. By nature I'm mostly submissive (although capable of switching if I'm sufficiently amused). Recently I've had the rather enjoyable and unusual experience of feminizing a submissive man over a week long break. I won't go into details but its somethi g the I was asked to do by a friend and decided to go with the flow. He wasn't 'turned female just brought out into the world as a very effeminate submissive man. He found the experience enormously humiliating and thankfully had a wonderful time.
Which brings me to my own little gripe. It's amazing to me that so many people that I come across - particularly guys, assume that because I'm submissive and very feminine in manner, that I have a desire myself for humiliation. Guys in particular tend to think they can order me around and that because I'm sub that I'll drop to my knees or bend over on demand. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have to be wined dined and generally charmed before I will submit. And even then I insist upon being treated lovingly!!.
Some people 'get It' and some never will: it's about being respected and respecting oneself. And it's complicated. One of the most respectful and charming men that I know and occasionally see is a dedicated Spanker who is terribly strict, entirely controlling and yet gentle and caring. On the other hand I've lost count of the number of self described admirers who very obviously are horrified that the middle aged dolly bird that they are are groping without invitation actually expects to be treated like a lady and doesn't necessarily exist for their fleeting guilty pleasure.
I had an example of this a little earlier this evening. A good looking but unpleasant man who seemed to think that I should be delighted to have the opportunity to satisfy him and who was actually quite rude when he eventually got the message that I wasn't interested.
So guys. Be cool. Dress nicely. Shave. Don't drink too much. And if you really fancy that girl take the trouble to get to know her. You might find that she enjoys bei g treated lime a princess so much that she'll willingly play slavegirl for you.

Things That We Live With:
It occurs to me that TG issues aside, many of us have quite significant life issues that we deal with.
For me one of those is recurring Malaria. Something that I picked up 30 years ago on a year long sojourn in South America.
It's serious potentially life threatening but it has become normal and I rarely think about it.
But it catches me by surprise. After a long reprise another bout has just started and by tomorrow I'll be quite 'spaced'. And of course I have an academic deadline tomorrow for an article and an important review for Tuesday.
The article will get done. The review will happen
All because I long ago realised that this thing is something that I just have to live with.
Wednesday I'll feel dreadful. Wrung out and exhausted and Thursday will be a normal work day.
So why can't we deal with our Trans issues in as robust a manner I wonder???
