Just your average gender mixed up girl who has been aware from the age of 7 that something was not quite right.
The usual story, we try to conform but it never goes away.
Closeted for many years but now get out reasonably regularly with the girls.
Been to LFF many times over the last 3 years and I am blessed with many lovely girlfriends.
Trying hard to maintain my femininity, size 12 skirts, size 14 dresses. Quite athletic, 6 foot without heels, blue eyes, light brown hair but this is gradually being replaced by grey.
Love meeting new friends.
Would love to be 24/7 but a happy marriage makes me hold back from becoming who I would love to be.
Update 19/07/17
Well after a very tearful session where I opened up to my wife I opened up to say that I really want to transition. Neither of us want to split up but she has made it clear that she is not a lesbian but anyway, been to the doctors with her today and have asked to be referred to the GIC in Newcastle.
Not sure yet where this will lead but feeling a bit more positive.
My wife is allowing me to continue growing my hair out despite it looking a mess.
Update 25/08/17
Hair still a mess but growing, might have to look at getting it coloured soon, as close to natural for now.
Still waiting for a referral to GIC but in the mean time I intend to start self medicating again, just waiting for them to be delivered, getting too old to be hanging about. The anti androgen should help my small patch of thinning hair but can't have one and not the other so I'm also going to take a low dosage of oestrogen and see how things go.
My draws are slowly getting cleared out of male clothes and being replaced.
My wife is a bit happier about me wear earrings while out, she is also coming to terms with me wearing a chemise or baby doll to bed but is only willing to cuddle up whilst doing so.
Felling slightly better with this gradual acceptance, hopefully being dressed around the house will come soon.

Still no GIC referral but they have sent me a questionnaire so that I can comment on their service and an open invite to an open day but alas I am away.
Started self medicating today, 5mg Fincar and 2mg progynova so I suppose i'd better let my GP know.
Hair still a mess but growing, sick of some people saying it suits me and others telling me to get it cut, I want long hair.

Just started 3rd month of HRT, not much to show for it but intend to increase progynova dosage to 4mg next month.
Had two visits to the psychiatrist with my wife but still not had GIC referral. I need for her to be comfortable with it.
Hair getting longer, very curly, nightmare to keep under control.

Not quite 3 months on HRT but I have just increased my daily dosage to 4mg Progynova. My skin is much softer and chest a bit plumper. Breast buds that I have experienced during previous attempts with HRT are not evident yet. My body hair growth has slowed somewhat but epilating and waxing is still required. Hair is getting longer and a little more manageable, slowly going blonde with the help of lightening spray..

Well i'm in the 4th month of taking HRT, not much has changed. Wife has commented on the softness of my skin and that I look to have more hair on my head but i'm not too sure about that even though it feels a lot finer. I had to have it cut as it was totally unmanageable, will need to seek advice on this as I would really love to grow it long.
I am being referred to a gender specialist although not at the GIC to help me come to terms with not transitioning fully if that is what my wife and I decide upon.
Why does love complicate things so much.

8 months on HRT, not much to show for it, slowly does it I suppose.
Been having laser on my face and back, amazing results even after only 2 sessions. Grey hairs on my face are going to be the next battle.
Not at LFF till August, looking forward to getting out with my girlfriends.
