CHAPTER 1 (January 2019)
Although not a huge fan of lengthy verbose profiles, nor a literally genius, my journey since joining TV Chix has been an amazing experience. Hopefully by highlighting some of the major steps in my femme journey I can give a little reassurance and support to any girls just embarking on their own trip to happiness.
TV Chix is a god send and has been a major part of my journey. I have chatted with some absolute amazing girls (and a niceguy) who have inspired me so much to embrace Samantha. The advice i have received has been invaluable and now I find myself chatting with newcomers and giving that support and reassurance. Just in the last few days I have encouraged 2 lovely girls to relish the new experience that our world can bring with 1 booking her first makeover and the other her first venture out to a hotel meet in Crawley.
For me January was all about confidence and as it transpires I came to realise that confidence is vital for Samantha to blossom. Confidence has given my the ability to stop taking headless photos in the mirror, to upload full facial pics, meet local girls for dressing days and to experience that thrill you get by the mixture of nerves, adrenaline and unbelief that you are actually walking around in public fully femme.
I have found that every day I take a step further exploring my femme side. These steps the building blocks to confidence and once you have reached a certain level of confidence and belief then you can fully embrace your inner self and start that secondary journey, the journey to happiness.
It all started with a fabulous makeover session with Sister Hyde which was fuelled by the need to see if I could pass as a women from the neck up. It was also the first time I had spoken to anyone face to face about being Samantha and was such an awesome feeling talking openly to someone who understood.
My confidence had raised massively when looking in the mirror for the first time in make up. So much so that on the way home I walked into House of Fraser and went straight over to a make up counter. When greeted by a stunning young women I calmly told her I was a crossdresser and wanted some foundation to match my skin tone.
My first meet was the next step to building my confidence... feeling that I could dress and wear make up with another dresser without looking stupid was such a thrill which was further highlighted by the reassurance from my meet that I could easily go public with my look..
So with more confidence I took the next step and found myself in Pinks at Harlow on a Tuesday night... arriving drab I changed and felt like the woman I am so myself with.. The night was fairly quiet so taking the opportunity I went over the road and sat down all femme in Wetherspoons with a G&T. Again that concocition of nerves and adrenaline giving me such a thrill that I wanted more and subsequently leading me, still dressed, to both MacDonalds and Tesco's on the way home..
With the excitement of my first trip out I craved more and started to look at upcoming events and getting all excited about enjoying my social life, one that I so enjoy in male mode, but now in a skirt and heels. Knowing that I still needed to focus on make up, my last confidence upload was obtained through a booking for a MAC make up lesson in Kingston. The session was such an experience and the staff so sincere and excited in how they could make me look. It was confidence that made me go for the session but also, and more importantly, it was confidence that suggested it would be a waste to remove the make up after the session and hence found me changing in the make up room and spending the afternoon walking around the high street in my favourite pair of tights and heels.
It would be unfair to suggest confidence is the sole enabling for Samantha's unbelievable month... I also need to emphasise the support and total inspiration that I have felt through some really special girls on Chix. Never underestimate the importance of chatting to genuine people that truly understand where you are and what you are...

FOREWORD (31-Dec-18)
Recently got back into dressing and getting to know my fem side a bit more...
I am average weight and 5'11" - wear size 14 in clothes and a 8 in shoes. Love to dress when I can in short skirts and nice blouses/ work tops and always with heels.
I feel that I am passable from the neck down (with some padding) and really want to meet someone local that can help with make up and hair to see if I could pass neck up. My ultimate dream would be to venture outside and visit bars and clubs with other gurls.
I am fairly outgoing, honest and genuine with a good sense of humour.
I am fairly unexperienced and have never meet with another gurl but would love to meet someone to enjoy dressing, nights out, and the odd drink.
