Had a good time at Feb 2015 LFF with my very good friend Betty, especially great to catch up with Michelle n Rachael but gonna give next one or two a miss as wanting to get back out in Newcastle n other places, booked to stay Blackpool for next LFF infact. I've been a regular for last 3 years to Leeds and will be back but just not as often.
Not going to be out much for rest of year due to working away but hope to make Sept LFF n maybe somewhere in midlands, perhaps Nottingham.
Had a fun time at Sparkle with a couple of great friends on Friday afternoon, stayed till early Sunday mornin :-D was my second time, 2012 was first one. I loved the park stage events n meeting up with friends, did a bit of site seeing/shopping to, China town n Arndale, will look to explore some less obvious bars next time. Stayed at Aura Hotel which was excellent all round.
Not been out girly much do to working away but have perfected a stylish n blingy guy look and I behave the same either way now :-)
Sherrie left the country on Saturday 8th March...she came back the next day having had a wonderful time in Cardiff. I met up with Gaynor un a couple of dozen or more other girls at Tyrosa St David's event before going out on the town. Started off with a bit of diversity at a Middle Eastern tent bar, then the Golden Cross n finishing off with lots of dancing to good tunes at Pulse.
Feb 29th: Had a fantastic time in Bristol, met up with lovely Lizzy at Pineapple 8 30 n very soon there was around a dozen girlz, moved on to the Queen Shilling for the Glitzy Girlz event n by 1 there were more than 20 girlz. Good music n lighting, clean facilities n friendly fun atmosphere :-) . Stayed at the very handy travellodge, Anchor Rd, with a Tesco just a couple of mins walk away.
Feb 2014: Had a wonderful couple of nights out at Pink Punters n Soho, did BNO for the first time(Valentine's night) n the next day stayed with a friend in London n went for a meal in China Town followed by Karaoke at Molly Mogs pub in Soho, fantastic atmosphere n such a warm friendly caracter filled place ....stunning n very professional Drag Queen too :-) Had a walk around Hyde Park n of course shopping on the Sunday.
Jan 2014: Amazing time as usual at LFF.
Been out loads in Darlington throughout December, karaokeing dancing n band nights plus one musicquiz which we came third in! Also great fun had at a new fetish club in Whitley Bay in December and it's inaugural one in November.
November: Had a very worthwhile afternoon in Middlesbrough, Mima art gallery, vintage shopping in Baker Street, McDonald's. The reason for the visit though was to see a Therapist regarding my transgender, it went really welI, felt a lot of relief from talking to him n don't expect to need to see him again anytime soon.
November LFF with Betty, Michelle, Debbie n Selina, night got a great kick start at the Bridge karaoke singing with Michelle :-) followed by Fibre n Smokestack. Stayed for lunch n shopping on the Saturday with Betty n Selina
Had a brillant time at October's LFF with Michelle, Debbie, Amanda, Lucy n Andi. The week before I was out in Harrogate with all the above bar Andi at Hale's bar, tjgreat atmosphere, friendly staff n good Karaoke on on a Thursday. Sept 2013: Yet again I had a wonderful time at LFF, was out with Betty, Michelle, Lucy, Amanda, Selina, Paula, a name that escapes me at moment n last but certainly not least Lara. Started with a song n dance in the Bridge n finished at a new bar, to me, Jake's(up near Corn Exchange) good music n atmosphere, my favourite was Brooklyn's again.
I'm attracted mentally to all kind warm hearted people regardless of genders but. for a relationship I need to be treated like a woman regardless of how I'm dressed n I I don't meet for one night stands.
I have registered myself transgender with my Doctor n have had my first consultation at a gender clinic. After two years of having the freedom to explore I've got to a confident place about who I am and just in the last few weeks I've become very comfortable about going out in either attire, I feel predominantly female however I'm dressed, I don't have a female body of crourse but I do know that for the first time in my life I understand who I am and no longer feel an outsider. I have many lovely friends in my local town who I completely feel at ease with, many of them are new friends but some are from my past.
I'm 53, 6ft, slim, with hazel eyes. I keep fit by walking, cycling, dancing n press ups. Non smoker.
I now buy all my rock chick n casual guy clothes from charity shops, I have more than a dozen dresses/short skirts plus heels from my Ebay shopping days but will only wear these for a bit of fun now, there not the real me.
T birds, Co. Durham, back in 2011 was the first place I dressed away from home n thanks to the staff n the other t girls I made friends with there I gained the confidence to head out into the great wide world... well North East n North West England... starting with Newcastle's Pink Triangle in Dec 2011.
Feb 2012, two weeks after my first LFF, I stepped out in my own town. This was probably the scariest thing but it soon became the norm, I absolutely love it here as have been so well excepted by so many people and have been able to combine my love of singing(karaoke) n dancing. As well as going out at least two nights a week I also go to the shops now.
Having a two day stay this May(2013)LFF, ar*riving on Thursday at the Travellodge, Bridge karaoke Thursday night n out at the shops Friday with my friend Betty.

December: Goin to t brids Co. Durham for there Christmas party, love the people there, so lookin forward to gettin back to where it all started for me! LFF n shoppin on the Sat in Leeds was wonderful as usual, lookin forward to Jan there n the sales!
November update: Regular now at real ale and live gig pub as well as a karaoke night at another pub where the DJ thought I was a drag queen...I'm taking it as a compliment.
Been out shopping locally several times, biggest thrill was chatting to a couple of lovely cosmetic assistants in my local department store on a Saturday afternoon.
October update: Karaoke cancelled when I got to my local pub so took the plunge n went to my first rock band night at a nearby real ale pub, doubt if they've had many trannies before but all was good especially the staff, loved the Sammy Hager lookalike lead singer.
Had a wonderful time at LFF catchin up with friends I'd not seen since the Spring n makin new one's.
I wish iCON (new Leeds event 3rd Fri of month), first night on Oct. 19th, every success. Hopefully having 2 dates a month to choose from should insure I can juggle work to accommodate at least one stop over in Leeds a month!t
Two nights out in three days in my town, Monday night at my local club with a lovely t friend who was visiting the area and Wednesday went out on my own to a couple of bars but was soon feeling very much at ease amongst some lovely people.
Aug update: Ticked another t girl box; drove my holiday higher car, don't own a car, after visiting my local club which is within walking distance I went for a spin round the ring road for good measure. Got out to Annies bar again in Middlesbrough, Friday Karaoke, then finished the night back in Darlo at the Golden Cock which was a bit edgy but once I got a pint of ale in me I took all the looks in my stride and had a good sing song n dance. Bit quiet this month apart from my regular Monday night(gay/trans gender friendly night) out in my home town although have managed a Wednesday as well at a couple of pubs, The Turks Head is a friendly enough place with a good Karaoke, it's got a good beer garden and plenty of space inside if you want to distance yourself from the music.
I'm starting to really miss LFF, not been since June and sadly can't make it till October.
Went out in Middlesbrough with a wonderful friend on Saturday 28th, we started at Annies Bar then The Oak followed by The Basement. Liked it best in Annies as we could have a conversation as well as hear good music, also I had more in common with the average age!
Sparkle was amazing thanks in a big way to the lovely company I was with. It was my first one and what a wonderful impression it has left on me especially seeing so many girls out, I was like a kid in a sweet shop, also ticked another box - my first time t ing it on public transport.
July Update: Had a lovely time catching up with friends and making new one's at T birds (Co. Durham) on the 12th, it was a good turnout for what included Rachel's, the lovely manageress's, birthday party, she and the rest of the staff/volunteers have made this such a warm friendly well run venue.
I love going to my local club every week, I get to chat, sing n sometimes dance with such a great variety of people in a warm friendly environment, I'd be a very lonely tgirl without it. I felt close to tears last night coming home to an empty house but then I started thinking about the wonderfully happy time I'd just shared with some special friends, a cheese toasty later and I was happy and content again.
June Update: Sat 23rd - Had best time ever out on the Toon.
Took my Jubilee dress out on tour to Newcastle on Saturday the 9th, had a lovely demure time.
Jubilee Party; had a really fun night in my friendly local club and thanks to a lovely lady, who altered my newly acquired dress, I felt fit for a Queen!
Have more terrific memories of LFF, enjoyed the company of some lovely girls, it's such a wonderfully warm feeling to be amongst so many free spirits! x
May Update: Great time again at 'subbyhunter's' cottage in N.Yorks on Wed 30th...I love this place it has such a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. A friend took me this time, it was her visit and she loved it, as did another new girl there.
Had a fun night in the pink triangle area of Newcastle, Sat 26th, met up at twist 8pm, actually was more like 9...I wasn't the only who was late... moved on to rustys, switch and bar one...great company and enough dancing to ache my toes. Had a much quieter night on the Sunday with a good friend at Bar Blu n The Oak in Middlesboro...a girl this old needs some recovery time!
Didn't make Boro due to fetish club on the Saturday...should have known...going out in NewUcastle this Saturday(26th) though and Monday night in Darlington, at the club I go to, just gets better.
Will be giving the Blu Bar in Middlesbrough a try, I've heard its good, maybe on Sunday 20th depends if we've recovered sufficiently from Sat night, back at St Mary's on Monday for sure though.
May Bank Hol W/end: Darlington at St Mary's Club(sma tease 2nd birthday party + my fav drag queens) on Monday night was absolutely brilliant, the cabaret was terrific and the many people I spoke to were all so friendly, I even got myself up dancing without having to be told!
Had a fun night out in Middlesbrough with a good friend on Sunday night, good atmosphere at the 'The Oak', will be going again perhaps on a midweek night.

Had an amazing 4 days over Easter; LFF with friends from "Farmhouse" N. Yorks plus a couple of fetish clubs then back in time for gay/trans gender night in home town!
March update:
Had another fun day at the Farmhouse, N. Yorks followed by evening dinner with two other tgirls at a nearby restaurant.
Managed three Monday's(gay/transgender night) out in Darlington, twice with different friends and once on my own, each time I got some nice complements and enjoyed some good company.
Another visit to the Farmhouse and another really enjoyable time, made several more new friends also had a night out in Darlington with a good friend, it was on a Monday night which is the gay/transgender night there. We started at Joe's bar at 9 30 ish just before it started to fill up and as we hadn't planned on being out late we then went to St Mary's club, Skinnergate, next rather than Harvey's, Seen and Insideout, which only start to fill up from 11. St Mary's is a good place if you want somewhere where you can talk inside, it has a very friendly atmosphere and gets a good mix including a sprinkling of tgirls. It has a very talented Drag Queen who is not over the top, it looks like a social club with disco lighting, but don't be put off, what it excels at is the quality of staff and customers.

Had an amazing couple of days, started with LFF followed by Blackpool at very short notice. LFF was such a dreamy experience, Blackpool was slightly more edgy but wonderful too, quite a contrast from wall to wall girls to being the only one's. I have some lasting memories from both, huge thanks to four lovely girls for making it all possible, as always with so many girls out I didn't get to speak to everybody I was hoping to but on the plus side I had some lovely unexpected encounters!
Catching up with girls that I've become warm friends with from my visits to Tbirds(Durham) and seeing one of the hosts from the Farmhouse (Richmond,Yorkshire) made me feel part of something really special...a community.

End of July update: Had my third visit to tbirds and it just gets better, more confident each time I go even though I hadn't been out for two months. I had some unexpected sad family news to deal with over the previous weeks so I cancelled my planned June visit to Newcastle, will look now at going in the Autumn.
End of May update: Just been on my second visit to tbirds and I enjoyed it even more, I restricted the flow of alcohol this time, everybody is so warm and friendly and the facilities are superb. I'm really looking forward to Newcastle in mid June, mixing with lots of gurls on the dance floor and walking the streets...well just a couple of short ones, will be back at tbirds soon after all being well.
Mid May update: Had a terrific time at tbirds, met lots of lovely gurls and got well looked after by the staff, definitely going again...soon I hope! It was my first time out as Nicole but it quickly felt the most natural thing in the world to be doing its also confirmed in me what a show off I can be and how turned on I am by other tgurls. Love to venture further to Leeds this summer.
