Let's do this bit first, then we can have some fun...
Hi there! I'm Diane, a 42-yr old t-girl (i.e. a man who dresses to look as much like a woman as he can), who was doing this on and off and occasionally outdoors during the day, for many years (same as a lot of girls on here, I'm sure) until Feb 2009 when it suddenly became a full-on regular thing... and I've never looked back!!
I used to do this in company with friends (this was in Lichfield) who probably saw it all as a bit of a joke, and went along with it, to the point of one of them masquerading as my boyfriend! But now I have acquired a circle of t-girl friends and admirers, who mean a lot to me.
Since Feb 2009 I've been a fairly regular visitor to the local tranny pubs, the Coach and Horses and the Catherine Wheel, where I have built up a bit of a reputation as a female karaoke artist/singer songwriter. As you can see from this site and my other website, I do like my parodies! The Castle pub and the Loft Club, just at the other end of the inner ring road, are good for a boogie now and then.
Over and above the profile bits I am exactly 6' tall, with mediterranean skin, dark hair and dark eyes, very slim build (slightly underweight) - and yes, I do shave all over... and looking for friendship. I do travel, shop and go out as Diane so I can meet people as Diane in the daytime pretty much anywhere.
I can't afford to tour the country doing t-girl clubs (a yearly trip to a naughty club is enough) and I can get enough satisfaction from doing a town or city visit in the daytime. Instead of Sparkle, I did the "Tranny Train Trip" - see the video...
I work with young people, which is the best job in the world as it never gets boring!
Essentially my girly type is 'Office babe who likes to be a bit of a tart now and again' (the thinking man's t-crumpet) or 'Yummy Mummy' - the latter is my best and most confortable look and so I am working on that one. (Obviously years of going to a rather select primary school with nouveau riche, twenty and thirtysomething mothers coming to pick up their kids in the early 80's had a powerful effect on me :->). We're talking long hair, large earrings, jumper dresses, leather jacket, tights, posh boots, full pan makeup on tanned skin - that sort of look? And yes of course I like wearing lingerie!! Buy me barely black/black/white lace-tops by Charnos and I'm pretty much yours...
I love being admired from afar - who doesn't? - but in terms of meeting for anything serious, I've recently met a very special lady so this side of things is closed for me now.
Although the city is the place to be seen and I'm always looking forward to more visits there as Diane (sometimes in company with a sympathetic friend or two), I'm also a country girl that likes walking and kayaking and getting away from it all in the wilderness. Well, it keeps you slim! I've done professional arborist's tree climbing and I have done Level 2 poledancing including competing in the UKAPP pole conpetition a couple of years ago.
It goes without saying that I love heels, tights, stockings and boots, but also the more strong, kickass look, tight snakeskin trousers, heeled boots and leather jacket... you get the picture... also underbust corsets (waspies). Love 'em!!

===DIANE'S DIARY-the story so far===
March 2014 - Despite back problems and a lot of crap to sort out recently, one of Diane's crowning moments. Accompanied selected work colleagues to National Awards for Learning Difficulties - we were in the runner up team. Lots of photos and generally chatting to lots of industry professionals. A very proud moment in my life.
December 2013 - Dunston Hall at Xmas work do - with several other companies there. Not an eyelid batted - had great time, danced (although not as much as in the old days :-(() and had a lot of fun generally, especially having photies taken by professional photographer with the rest of the work team. Very pleased with the results!
May - July 2013 - Went to Tease II, and Sticky Fingers (though only watching!). But also kept out and about in Norwich, though lack of cash and back fitness has meant some restrictions...
April 2013 - Well, a slipped disc stopped me in my tracks and made a long recovery necessary. New Years Eve totally missed... But managed to get to Tgirl HQ (Bedford) with my special friend. Have to say this was a bit like going back in time to the days when I went to exclusively t-girly places BUT enjoyed the venue and then found a really special, entertaining and oh so sexy t-girl who gave my lady friend and I a very special night we won't forget... thank you honey, you know who you are!! xxx

July-Sep 2012 - Lots of little and not-so-little train trips around East Anglia and venturing as far as the Midlands! Lowestoft, Newmarket, Peterborough, Leicester, King's Lynn and Ipswich (see above). Also met some lovely people in the course of my wanderings, but most of all loved gadding about on trains. Simply messing about on trains... Diane truly is a train girl! (Done quite a few buses now too, locally and elsewhere). Also new restaurant venues in Norwich with work colleagues and friends.

June 2011 - Hottest day this year so far - 32 degrees - and Di was out in town among the crowds in her Poledancing T-shirt, short shorts and lovely sandals - and barely a head turned. I would say that I have finally found the casual summer look that suits me, after so many false starts... hooray!! Paying cheques into my male bank account was a bit weird...

Jan 01 2011 - What a NYE... Went on my own to swingers club "Arousal" - only tgirl there - had great time, felt like a star - sure I got ignored by some but I sure didnt get ignored by others!!!! Wahey girl!!! Highlight, poledancing in front of loads of people. Oh and one other highlight but ahem I won't mention that here. I am too classy a lady for that... oh yes...

August 2010 - Poledanced at UKAPP (UK Amateur pole performer), as ballet dancer and to Tchaikovsky. A bit too serious to get into the final I think (and very simple routine) but was the fulfilment of a dream!! Everyone fine with it and a good fun night. Also now passed Level 2!!

May 2010 - Performed some of my own songs at the Norwich Arts Centre, a venue shared by Oasis and Muse!! (not on the same evening though lol). Wonderful feeling of power, filling that space with my voice and more especially my music. Not sure if this is as high on the ladder as I will climb, but would love it to be the start of something new and good. We will have to see./Started up a resolution as well: to go into town every Saturday after pay day, starting with pub lunch with sympathetic friends, shopping, evening meal and club. The true girl's day out, first one was fab so here's to the next one!!!

Apr 2010 - Visit to Stunners. I wouldn't say it was my favourite venue, but it was an achievement getting there and I met some great people (Suzy, Kandi, Roxy, John and that guy with the spiked collar and pouch lol) - although the person I got 'closest' to, I can't remember your name sexy!! Sorry (and please remind me). Anyhow a very dark evening with lots going on... but all part of Diane's ongoing voyage of discovery and self-discovery. There are really only a couple of barriers left to cross and then it's time for Diane to really sort out what she wants from life - if she ever knows, that is....

Mar 2010 - Diane travelled across three counties by train and coach to reach Clacton on Sea - excellent fun... especially getting a lady in the ticket queue to get angry with the staff on my behalf and, pointing at me, say to them "Look, this lady's train is leaving soon, why don;t you serve her first?"!! N and E, love you both you are a fab couple xxxxx Also St Patricks Night on my own at local lesbian pub - wicked, loads of attention for new songs... also asked to perform some numbers at a friend's mum's birthday do at Noir nightclub in Norwich - wonderful, I want to do much more of this!!!

Feb 2010 - made it to Candygirls at last!!! Actually not the den of sin I had been led to believe, but a really nice and comfortable varied little venue, discreet, safe and easy to get to. With a pole... though pity the poley music was all playing DOWNstairs where there was, sadly , an absence of pole. But great being watched showing off my moves!! Thanks to: Sarah, Nikki, Joanna?, Jenni, the girl working the disco forgotten your name hunni, and above all of course to the lovely Kylie and Lisa, lovely meeting you two babes xxxxxx oooh nearly forgot, stayed dressed all the way home, and called in at birchanger green service station where there were loads of peeps and no-one batted an eyelid! (well one bloke looked my way but he might have been comparing chocolate prices in the rack behind me. THat's what I reckon). Also stopped totally on a whim at Elveden to take some pics at the church there.

Also - November 09 - Tesco's!! Also wild Halloween at the Castle Pub as Tamara! Also Rocky Horror screening Night (wild!) and Hot Candys Rocky Horror themed evening. Basically a fortnight of partying - perhaps time now to get back to the serious business of trannying in public, although I filled up my Transit with diesel and got cash out the other night as Diane so I'm still flying the flag!! Starting to get a lot of attention at the Castle and I'm loving it...

Oct 18th 09 - First restaurant meal as Diane in company with a lovely m/f couple I know - they and I are all looking forward to the next one. The Lady wore one of my dresses! Nearly went arse-over-false-boobs on a very slippery bit of floor near the bar ...but everything else fine. Barmaid didn't bat an eyelid!!

Sep 09 - into town on the hottest day this year in some very hotpants, sandals and strappy top to see a friend's MA photography expo - got noticed by many and whistled by some, but hey, the fact I don't pass nearly so easily in summer is not bothering me quite as much... I think.... in any case, it was good advertising for the TTT video, which John has submitted as part of his MA!!! Academics are now studying my legs!!! (Well, about time rofl...)

Aug 09 - returned to Norwich on a hot holiday Saturday Afternoon - possibly the scariest time to be a tgirl out on the city!! Yeah, a few funny glances and stares but not too bad. However realising I need to work on my summer outfits a bit... go casual girl, deflect rather than attract if you wish to pass! Also visited mainstream pub but with so many gay blokes it didn't seem like much of a deal!!

Easter 09 - Well Candygirls didn;t happen as I gather they are closed due to repairs - perhaps all the mass shagging has weakened the foundations? Anyhow, ! made it into Norwich dressed TWICE, where I talked to people, bought stuff, visited a cafe and got away with using the ladies' there, took photos - all good stuff! The odd look - literally that was all - otherwise pretty good, felt part of the crowd really. Only off reaction was the Boots in Castle Mall where I forgot to shift my voice up and therefore got some weird looks (although they did help me).
Looking forward to doing BNO again, this time from a mainstream travelodge - I am gonna try and book in as Diane right from the start, and get dressed shortly before arriving...

24th Jan -(Theatre Royal Norwich) Swan Lake reared up and hit me between the eyes again, last saw it about 18 years ago. It gets you every time - and when the swans turn into beautiful girls in white tutus all the little girls in the audience are thinking 'Wanna be... wanna be!'- and so am I!! Actually veery deep symbolism despite the obvious storyline - women who are trapped in other bodies during the day and can only be women at night... sound familiar??!
First memory is of being in a blue tutu in kindergarten and being laughed at by class... can't remember why, though... perhaps I will order one on ebay? There's a thought!

3rd Jan: New update - just want to share this with everyone on here, I'm sure all serious tgirls will identify with this - after roughing it for 20 years, my first professional attempt at makeup! Yes I studied Lauren Scarlet all xmas, went to Boots and in stead of just grabbing and running I spent about 30 mins really hunting for colours and making sure I also had face cleanser, 2 contrasting shades of face powder (I already have blusher and foundation) and today... I plucked my brows into a far more fem shape (not too painful if you do it fast), applied my powders and was stunned at what a difference that makes to the camera. I still think I have a male cast to the features but to be honest that is so minimised by the professional way of doing it that it's amazing. Not plastering my upper eyelids with garish colour helps enormously too...suddenly I look real!
Obviously the proof of the pudding is in the outing BUT it is so nice to be keeping most of the shots I take instead of discarding them. Thank you Lauren, you are a star and an angel and a chixmate. I worship at your shrine.
Thinking back on that escapade (below) I think I may also have caused offence, because I realise - far too late - that I may have jumped a queue as well as gone in dressed as a woman.....

29th Dec _Just had my first full-on day out in Norwich dressed, with support from a male friend. An experience - I think I did better earlier on, towards the end it felt like every fifth middle-aged woman was reading me and I got a few filthy looks (no, not those sort of looks, as far as I am aware!). I also got rumbled in the ladies' toilets in a posh department store but made my escape with my faithful escort just before I was apprehended by the management. Had a fab time looking in all the alternative shops (Black Lace, Rock Shop) however, where, needless to say, I was made more than welcome, though regretfully I could not afford more than a teensy bottle of nail varnish...
Also when I first started out I was - gulp - extremely honest with myself and did my COGIATI test :-
Score: +100 exactly, so that's at the very feminine end of (-130 to +129), COGIATI classification THREE, ANDROGYNE - well, I knew that lol. But it's nice to have it confirmed.
