I came in looking for info about events like LFF, and everyone has been so helpful and supportive, I feel like I'm becoming part of a community, and it's been a really great experience for me.
A bit about me?
I have no idea where I am in the scale of things. I guess I'm a cross-dresser, non-binary, though theres probably more to it than that, I am really heading into transfemme territory these days I think. I dont dress for fun, or a thrill or for anyones amusement, It is how i choose to express myself.
I live a generally "normal" life, work, mortgage, car. I go to work in black trousers and a polo (like everyone else at my work), at home I live in the manner that reflects myself, ie I go home, put on a dress and makeup and watch a movie with a glass of wine, then I go to bed and repeat. Life is pretty much that simple, and while it might sound a bit rubbish, I enjoy it.
I'm pretty much full-time at home living the real me way. Ive been doing it a while. I will say I have come out officially to friends and family and work.
I'm into the 40s now and I guess I have got to a point where I dont really care what anyone thinks of me, and that is kind of liberating in its own way, and has given me certain sense of freedom that I never possesed in the past.
What do I want now? essentialy, i'd like to be more social, I'd like to meet people and chat with people in the same place as me. I'd like to develop my horizons. Im not looking for hookups. But I don't intend to be celibate either ;) the support of a community, friendship, help with makeup (this continues to infuriate me despite all the practice) is what I'm really feeling to be most important.

apparently i have to add some details about appearance..... um I'm like 5'10 tall, about a size 12 these days, size 9 feet, probably in the low 80s kg area, so I'm not little. Hair long dark and natural, eyes dark. (March note: broke 80kg, 12.5 st which is just about 175lb)
