Well I’m most certainly out, loud and proud. Not to everyone, only those who matter, but Tanya is part of the real world and it’s highly recommended. Gone are the furtive shots taken in the dark replaced with the vibrant and happy ones of me celebrating life, love and of course Tanya.
Yes it was a scary journey and to some degree it still is. However, it’s one worth taking, a single step at a time and learning that the vast majority of people really don’t care how you present and will accept you for who you are. Reasoning I was given a hundred times, but still took me years and years to realise. Just be you xx

Time to update the profile as it’s getting a little old and musty 🤓
After a turbulent year emotionally I finally made the decision to seek help plus come out to my loved ones. It’s early days but the response has been so much more than I could have hoped for and I’m getting back on track to being me, something I haven’t been for some time. The roller coaster ride of being Trans is exhilarating, but the dips can be very long and deep if you try keep it all in as I did. Early days, but feeling more positive than I have in god knows how long, and long may it reign!
Looking to put the thought of being afraid of my own shadow to bed once and for all. Coming out to the broader world will be a more challenging journey, but I’m starting to feel for once it’s not as daunting as I thought. The mind can be a scary place in its own right at times. For all you girls who are doing it tough, stick in there and talk to someone, it can really make a difference.
So to me. Im a lifelong Aussie Trans Woman tall, pale eyes and natural brunette (sorry lovers of blonde but the wigs are now history) in my prime, who loves all things in life which are good. Intelligent, articulate and witty, I am drawn to interesting conversation, fine wine and a good show. Tanya defines me and makes me the vibrant, if at time a little skittish, person I am. I can be quiet yet engaging, unassuming, confidant and tolerant to a fault, although rude people bring on a different persona.
