I’m Jodie Lynn, founder of The Boudoir London & The Boudoir Los Angeles, and after more than 26 fabulous years in this industry, I can honestly say my passion for supporting the trans community burns brighter than ever. What began as a discreet little North London address has grown into one of the most recognised and longest-running independent dressing services in the world, and what a glittering journey it has been.
From clients across every corner of the UK to unforgettable work in Edinburgh, Dublin, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, San Francisco, Miami, New York, Las Vegas, and of course my beloved second Boudoir home in Los Angeles, this career has taken me on the most extraordinary adventure. But no matter how far the miles stretch, the heart of it has always been the same: helping people step into themselves, feel seen, and discover their magic.
The Boudoir has never just been about makeup, wigs, fashion, or fabulous heels—it’s about confidence, joy, release, and those life-changing moments when someone finally sees the person they’ve always dreamed of in the mirror. That devotion, that love for my girls and everyone I work with, is still the heartbeat of everything I do.
I found this incredible world as a 23-year-old girl, and now, heading into my fabulous 50s, I’m still having the time of my life, still glamorous, still devoted, still building dreams in heels.
And for the vital stats, because a little glamorous admin never hurt anyone: I’m 5ft 9 (a glorious 6ft in heels), with long blonde hair, green eyes, a slim size 10 figure, and a size 7 shoe, basically built for a dramatic entrance. ✨
