Hello! Thanks for reading this. Updated 20/09/23.

The profile bit:

I'm a 62-year-old cross-dresser and I live between Bristol and Bath. I'm just under six feet tall with grey eyes. I enjoy wearing shiny blouses, short skirts, stockings and boots.

I love boots and have several different coloured pairs. Boots are Wander's trademark. If she's not wearing boots then she's not me! I also have a variety of different coloured wigs although I have just retired the one that you see in most of the snaps. In addition I also love denim mini-skirts. As one girl said "Denim Minis rock!" Well, I rock in a denim mini. I regularly shop at Ann Summers buying lingerie and sexy outfits and I feel comfortable doing it dressed as him or Wander, but especially as her.

My 'ordinary' interests include reading and writing, watching sport, and walking, especially by the coast as you will see in some of the snaps below. My sexual interests include cross-dressing (obviously), sploshing, water-sports and bondage. I'm fairly open-minded and I've engaged in the above with ladies and T-girls. I don't smoke and drink rarely.

I joined TV Chix in June 2014 when I was introduced to it by Andrea in Nottingham. Much has happened to Wander since June 2014 though.

At the end of July 2014 I went to a T-girl party at Colanne's farm in West Somerset. My first time out! I intended to go discreetly out via the back door to the car at the rear but it wouldn't lock from the outside! Instead I had to go out the front with my boot heels clicking all the way round! What a moment. The drive down to Colanne's was quite heady. It's a drive I've done many times since, and usually with my girlfriend Goddess Christine whom I met down there on that first occasion. Indeed Chrissy and I are now engaged.

Many thanks to Colanne for getting us together. Colanne's place is a wonderful venue for first-time T-girls. You can arrive as 'him' and then dress as 'her' and Colanne has a variety of clothing if you are short of your own. Other gurls are always friendly and will give constructive advice on make-up, clothing etc. There is no need to worry about being overlooked and even the postman or a delivery man might compliment you on your appearance!

At first I had lots of help from Goddess Christine (thank you!) with the make-up but it's much better now. I'm feeling relaxed in public and comfortable in what I'm wearing. It's what I want to wear! Foundation is a crucial part of make-up. It's important to get it right if you want to be convincing in public, and I certainly did. I've got stuff in the closet that I want to wear out. Goddess Christine and I (as him) went to Boots (ironic for a passionate boots lover!) in Bournemouth to find the right shade of foundation. We were quite up front that I was a TV and the make-up lady treated me very professionally. That was a big step but a necessary one and my confidence built from there.

My second time out was in full public in September 2014. It was a jazz night at the Riviera Hotel in Bournemouth (vanilla venue!) followed by a brief appearance at DYMK. Many thanks to my girlfriend Goddess Christine and to Lady Ava Hay for both their help with my make-up and for their company. I wore my favourite dress, tights and my new black boots. Throughout the evening I felt completely relaxed and I enjoyed it immensely.

Over the next three months I went out several times in the Bournemouth area as Wander. There were a few Saturday evenings at DYMK and I also went to Swanage, Kimmeridge and Corfe Castle. I also had to go to Wimborne Market for a new handbag, having finally admitted the old one was too small! Girls who haven't been out before, take note! In November 2014 Goddess Christine moved in with me. We go out with me dressed on a regular basis.

I attend Touch in Swindon as well as the afore-mentioned visits to Colanne's. There are lots of other locations around Bristol and Bath that I visit regularly and you can see snaps of me at them below. I go out regularly as Wander and it feels good when I do. Recently I got wolf-whistled at Yate Shopping Centre and I'm very sure that I hadn't been made. Masks do help ironically!

Wander's Grand Day out!
On the morning of May Bank Holiday Monday (30th May 2016) I dressed as Wander early. Chrissy pointed out that we needed more milk and as she wasn't feeling well it was up to me to go out and get it. I was wearing a pink T-shirt with "Not A Morning Panda" printed on it (I collect pandas), a knee-length button-up denim skirt, my black boots and my black leather jacket. Chrissy suggested I take as long as I wanted because it was a lovely day. However, I'd never been out by myself as Wander except for trips to Colanne's or Amy-Jane's so this was going to be quite a day!

Left home at about 11.30. The milk, and lunch, I bought at a mini-market in Frampton Cotterell about eight miles from home. The counter-clerk greeted me with "Can I help you Ma'am?" Nice.

I continued on to one of my favourite spots at Whale Wharf on the River Severn, a mile north of the First Severn Crossing. I walked a mile along the bank towards the bridge then turned around into the wind. More concerned about the wig blowing off than comments from any of the three groups of people I met but, in fact, no actual problems. It was very quiet. I had lunch while being watched by a herd of cows leaning over the nearby farm gate!

Next I drove down to unfashionable Severn Beach and ... was very lucky to get a parking space! Unusual. I spent a little while sitting on the front watching traffic on the Second Severn Crossing and reading a book. Changed seats once because of the wind but otherwise once again no problems with anyone. However, the clouds had gone and it was warming up. Decided it might be cooler further downriver.

Off to Clevedon. I know it well because I used to live there. Very lucky to get a parking space in a street parallel to the sea front but, importantly, just a short walk to the Ladies' Toilets. Left the jacket in the car and strolled off to the Ladies. Redid the lipstick whilst standing outside the Ladies' and watching the bustling crowds. I'd never seen so many people there! A guitarist was singing David Bowie songs at Scarlett's cafe on the corner. Carefully crossed the road to the Esplanade. People everywhere and difficult to move, but no-one taking any notice of me. Handbag over my shoulder and strolling along feeling completely in place. It helps that I'm wearing sunglasses just like lots of other people.

Looked at the long queue for the ice-cream van and decided to go sit down near the bandstand and enjoy the view. Ten minutes later the queue was much shorter. Good! I hate standing still in heels at the best of times and the long queue was on a slope as well. Just the three words to the vendor "Mint cone please." with the right change, served and gone in thirty seconds. Back to another seat near the bandstand, one with a better view of the River Severn and the pier and enjoyed the ice-cream!

Spent twenty minutes people-watching and only one person glanced at me. Thought about walking down to the recently refurbished Marine Lake but decided to drive down to Poet's Walk instead. Ten minutes later I'm walking up to a bench on the headland, one of my favourite spots. I did have another spot just below the path but above the cliff, However, it's now sadly overgrown. Sat down with book alternatively reading and watching the tide turn in the southernmost bay. People and dogs walking past regularly but no-one taking any undue notice of me, other than a perfunctory sniff from a Labrador!

Dressed as I wanted to be, in one of my favourite places with a good book and lovely weather. Mmm!
Could have stayed there all evening but at 6.05pm decided it was, finally, time to take the milk home to Chrissy!

Got home at 7.00pm after being out on my own for over seven hours! Wow!! It can be done.

One of my most recent outings was with Stephanie, Nicola and Sarah to The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Bristol Hippodrome on Friday 21st June 2019. Amazed by all the (ordinary) girls who wanted pictures taken with us. TVs are welcome by the great British public!

May 2022; Just fulfilled a long-held dream of holidaying at Weymouth whilst dressed the entire time. The Isle of Portland saw a lot of me too as I twice switched outfits in Church Ope car park!

September 2023: I recently went to Swindon to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show. I was walking down the street with Annabell from hotel to theatre in a sparkly top, a six-inch PVC skirt, garters, stockings and knee-high boots getting lots of positive attention. First time I'd ever done that with stocking-tops deliberately showing. Lovely feeling!
