Claire Thomas, myself and our respective wives are just back from a cruise on the Cunard Queen Victoria. We had a great trip, our fellow Cruisers were friendly and some slightly intrigued, we struck up some Holiday Friendships too. There was an entertainer on the ship whose claim to fame was that he had won the most number of "Opportunity Knocks" episodes ever, dating back to the early to mid 70s , think he said 13 weeks in a row. His name is Bernie Flint, the show was before my time but my pal Claire Thomas said she remembered him!! LOL LOL..Bernie has a great voice with funny material. We became friendly.A great vocalist and songwriter from Liverpool!

Saturday 23rd July, Claire Thomas ( my Bestie) and myself checked into a posh London hotel, put on on our summer dresses and went out to Soho for dinner and then the Comedy Store , Great evening had by all.

My favourite musician atm is Bruce Springsteen, he's a rock star and a poet and his looks have improved with age.
