PREAMBLE
When I reached the ripe young age of 70 in April 2017, I decided that with all the ravages of my advancing years, my profile photographs might give a misleading and flattering impression of my present appearance so I decided to replace them. The 20 images below were all taken after that date.

I'm a 'mature' TV (age 76) who enjoys exploring my femme side to the full. I've had a taste for all things female since I was very young and despite several 'purges' over the years (when I chucked out all the frocks) I now know that April is here to stay, so I want to make the most of it. I'm married; my wife knows I dress but wants nothing to do with it. I dress when alone in the house and sometimes get very rare opportunities to go out as April. For me, the buzz of going out into the world as April is like nothing else on earth; unfortunately, it only happens a few times a year when I have the house to myself overnight or travel away on my own. Please note that, because of my very restrictive domestic situation, I DO NOT do meets. I'll just repeat that - I DO NOT DO MEETS!
I'm 5'11" tall, slim (dress size 12), blue eyes, with long sexy(ish) legs and two little fleshy baby boobs that appeared when I was around 13 but never quite went the whole distance (36B bra with no extra padding gives me quite a tight, pronounced bust). I'm a very girly girl and my theme tune could well be "I enjoy Being a Girl" from the film "The Flower Drum Song" because, in the words of the song, I'm certainly 'strictly a female female'. I'm friendly and have a keen sense of humour. I don't smoke, I certainly don't do drugs, but I probably drink more than I should. I'm just looking to communicate with others like me and share experiences - not particularly looking for physical encounters or other relationships, but happy within reason to just go where the flow takes me.
I love fine, sexy lingerie, stockings and heels, with heavy make-up. I adore the really classic feminine look, whether it's floaty dresses or contoured lines. Women I adore include Liz Hurley, Natasha Kaplinsky, Sophia Loren, Joanne Woodward, Joanna Lumley, Jane Asher, etc. although the truth is, of course, that I'm never going to look anything like any of them. Strangely, two different ladies told me on separate occasions years ago that I reminded them of the late Marti Caine - I was seriously flattered, but then that was a long, long time ago!
I have an eclectic musical taste that embraces all genres from heavy metal to classical; from folk and blues to jazz. I enjoy watching most sports (particularly football and athletics) and still manage to run a bit myself. I've travelled extensively over the years and have visited over 70 countries.
If you write and I don't respond quickly, I apologise. I'm only able to check and reply to messages occasionally (because of my domestic situation) so sometimes I miss a few days. I'm a shy girl really and I certainly won't bite!

JANUARY 2010: I’ve decided to update my pictures because most of the previous ones were at least 5 or 6 years old - hope you like them. I’m seriously indebted to the lovely lady who took them, the gorgeous Josie at Adam and Eve of London (www.adamandeve121.co.uk) who, as always, was the perfect hostess for an afternoon of pure fantasy! APRIL 2010: As I get older, I seem to be happy to indulge my girly side even more. Just had a super weekend in London where, apart from the dressing session at Adam and Eve, I ventured out for nocturnal walks en femme and even plucked up the courage to go to a west end show totally en femme in strappy frock, heels, et al ……… think I got away with it!!
AUGUST 2010: Managed to get up to ‘Sparkle’ in Manchester for 3 days last month and had an awesome time. I can’t say thank you enough to the lovely Jane of Strictly Seventh Heaven dressing service (www.strictlyseventhheaven.co.uk) who not only brought a range of outfits to my hotel room for me to select from, but also did my make-up, convinced me that a strapless extra-short body-hugging white dress was really ‘me’, and then gave me a lift to the Village where I had the night of my life (had a great time with a hen party in The Rembrandt who seemed to adopt me as one of the girls for the night). Then I walked the mile or so back to my hotel through a busy central Manchester on 4” heels!
SEPTEMBER 2010: Paid another visit to London early in August and popped in to see Josie again at Adam and Eve. As always, I was in and out of all sorts of outfits during my visit and some new pictures have been added below as a result. Thanks again Josie - you’re an absolute star.
MAY 2013: One or two pictures substituted for earlier ones. I always wondered whether, as I got older, the feminine feelings would decrease, but it just gets stronger all the time! The lippie gets redder, the lingerie gets sexier, the heels get higher - this is one serious woman inside!
MAY 2015: As age takes its toll, it's only reasonable and honest for me to post some more recent pictures to illustrate my journey into mature womanhood! Unfortunately, they also illustrate the inevitable arrival of wrinkles, face lines and a chubbier waistline!! Hey-ho.
APRIL 2017: Made my first visit to Jean Monroe's dressing service in Lincolnshire and had a glorious time plundering her Aladdin's cave of dresses, shoes and Lingerie. Jean knows everything about turning boys into girls and enjoyed herself taking around 300 images for me on my camera!
AUGUST 2017: On a trip to London, I visited Lola's dressing service and spent a brilliant four hours trying on a number of outfits and having photographs taken. There's certainly something hugely erotic about sitting in a comfortable chair while a stunningly gorgeous young lady slowly transforms you from drab boring male into a glamorous female.
APRIL 2018: Back to Jean Monroe's in Lincolnshire for another dose of crossdresser makeover heaven!
DECEMBER 2018: Another visit to see the lovely Josie at Adam and Eve dressing service in Bethnal Green, London. As always, a truly wonderful experience trying on some tinglingly feminine outfits and all topped off with an evening walk around the local area en femme.
APRIL 2019: Visited Harrogate where I joined some of the locals for the regular tgirls get-together. Had a fabulous evening starting with the restrained gentility of the Five Shillings Brasserie before moving on to Hales Bar Karaoke Night where a succession of wannabe-crooners murdered various hits old and new, duly encouraged by a packed and raucous audience. I was made to feel most welcome and met some really friendly girls, all of whom had stories to tell and experiences to share. It's humbling to reflect that in one brief evening I felt that there was a bond between all of us and I certainly developed friendships that I will treasure and value forever.
AUGUST 2019: On a trip to London I spent some time with the gorgeous Cindy at her Boys Will Be Girls dressing service. What a wonderful day with some lovely outfits to wear that really brought out the diva in me. I particularly enjoyed dressing as a 1920s flapper girl, complete with long cigarette holder!
