Hello everyone,
after a break from the dating scene am looking to get back into things, so am on here for dates, hopefully in the long-term something more, who knows. Not interested in brief flings or one-off hook-ups.
Looking for a MTF trans woman/TV/TG/CD ideally, though open-minded to guys also. That's just what I find attractive, I'm not sure why exactly as I'm generally pretty gay, though the trans attraction thing something I've been aware of for many years now (long pre-dating the mid-2010s rise in public prominence). It's just not a porn-driven fetish and I'm not just a 'chaser' - I have dated trans women before and am looking to find someone who yes I find physically attractive, but moreso someone to connect with on an emotional and intellectual level - someone to share special moments with, to be close friends with, and hopefully leading to something more. I don't care what others think and if things ever did get to that stage I would want it to be a fully public relationship. Soz getting a little serious there right off the bat 🤣 - am also open to just meeting new people and making friends.
I'm not fussed about race/nationality, whether you just cross-dress occasionally or have gone down the surgery route, or indeed if you're a guy. Open-minded on age (say 10-15 years either side of me). Location not a huge issue - I recently moved to Nottingham, though am visiting London a lot atm and might be re-locating to Manchester soon, and in any case I'm location independent (have lived all UK and abroad), so am willing to travel for the right person.
I'll be upfront from the outset I have Aspergers (mild autism), which can sometimes make communication difficult as I can struggle to pick up on social cues or hints, or to deal with stressful situations. On the plus side of it I cannot lie, am a no bs straight talker, and can't do drama/head-games even if I wanted to. Aspergers and related conditions are more common in the trans community as I understand, however it is not a dealbreaker, and with patience and mutual understanding I feel an aspergers/non-aspergers relationship could work.
Other than that... slowly aging millennial, generally laid-back and chilled. Average height, slim, (still mostly) black hair, short beard, British-born but Irish background. Agnostic on religion and a floating voter on politics, though slightly radicalised in a more libertarian direction after the Covid hysteria. I like long walks, nature, reading, dogs, dive bars, travelling, music/concerts (80s, 90s, campy, American country) all things old & ancient, and drinking tea, though I spend a lot of time working these days as I have a 9-5 plus a side hustle. Not a hyper-rigid Aspie and I like to mix things up - some evenings I will laze in bed watching YouTube videos, next night will be reading a long book, the the next night I'll be out and about bar hopping. Some people say I come across as overly serious or shy at first - I have become hyper-independent and guarded out of necessity and, frankly, various negative experiences - however I have a fun, silly side which comes out with people that I like and trust.
So if you think we might get along, please feel free to drop me a message.
