Been dressing since I was About 5 or 6, and like most have had my ups and down and my purges of clothes. Now I am happy with what I do, my wife knows, accepts it but is not helpful. have been on several shopping trips dressed up and loved it. I started out going to see a style advisor at dorothy perkins, was nervous as hell getting from the car to the shop, but once there they were very helpful, made me feel welcome, but more to the point there was a huge rail of clothes for me to try on. I had a great time and came back with two bags full of clothes and could not wait until the next time! Each time I have been out it has given me more and more confidence to do it again. Last time I went shopping I treated myself in La Senza and Boux Avenue, where they let me try the undies on before I bought, this I never in my wildest dream I would ever be able to do, but the staff were so nice and helpful and did not bat an eyelid!
The look I go for is just to pass convincingly although that will never 100% happen, but love skirts with boots. I am slim siza 8/10 skirt 12 top hair depends on what wig but at the moment my favourite wig a blonde bob.
I would love to get to know others like me locally as it can feel quite isolating to know there are other people going through the same emotional turmoils. My ultimate wish would be to find a female to be a friend to Jenny, someone to go shopping with or just for a coffee, although I don't drink coffee! To help with a femenine piont of view and advice.
