So lucky to be able to slowly venture back out into the real world. Hopefully as safely as possible.
A new makeover pic and hopefully some internal reassurance that my girl still lurks within.
This is truly my happy place.
In my quest for femininity, I find it has the added benefit of motivating me to look after myself, my mind and my body. For many of us it is as much about the internal struggle as the external appearance one.
The uncertainty of 2020 derailed that for me for a long while and the light of the serenity of being Lesley seemed to diminish.
She is back, she is my sanctuary.

Now venturing into dressing properly. This is my time
Since I was a teenager I have always dressed secretly as most of us do. Just heels and lingerie mostly and the occasional dress or skirt. While there was a lot more opportunity to dress when I was younger and single, finances were always restrictive and I didn't really understand the urges that I was having anyway. Buying bits and pieces was always terrifying but a thrill when I finally had the nerve to go through with it. I knew I enjoyed dressing but felt like I was the only one in the world with this "problem".
I definitely wasn't attracted to guys and I was always confused about who I was. I love women and always have. I appreciate the female form and the effort that goes into looking good.
As time went by, what became apparent was that I had strong urges to look and act female as well.
Marriage, kids mortgages, the whole nine yards and the dressing thing stopped for a long time. Mainly due to lack of opportunity.
Move forward 20 years now kids are gone, lots of free time, some disposable income and the wonderful world of the internet and a whole new door has reopened itself.
Suddenly there is Ebay with everything a dresser could want and cheap!! Youtube and social sites full of people with their stories and guess what there are people out there just like me!! I'm not totally wierd, I'm not the only one struggling with this. It's like someone opened a window and this breath of fresh air of reality came flooding in.
I'm now so inspired by some truly lovely people who are amazing at transforming themselves into these beautiful girls and women. Not only that but they are brave enough to share with the world.
So here I am, trying to be the best that I can be. It is so good for my soul to delve into this other part of me from time to time and it is just plain fun.
Learning more everyday and maybe one day have a style that is me.
