Hi to everyone & anyone,
Thanx for taking the time to drop by my updated bio & collection of random thoughts. And 23000 thanx for all of U who have done so in the past! So flattered! And special thanx for anyone who took their time to post a comment along the way!
So this is another update, as like the rest of the world I've moved on from where I started many years back, and even just a few years ago. (although unlike the rest of the world I feel I'm going in a better direction than it is!!!)
I've been here on 'Chix since Oct 2013 - over 11 years - & used to call myself 'maxineannnewman'. At the time I did consider a fun play on words for a tag, U know something like Philippa Mee or Wanda Jackov, or the ever reliable triple entendre of Maxi Swallows but I wanted a real name & a real persona & ended with Maxine Ann Newman. But let’s be honest, it isn’t that exciting, although there is a gag in there somewhere! (U know what it’s like, U think of something quickly when U create a profile, & then later on it occurs to U it was a bit lame!) So after further thought I re-invented myself as Maxine Amber Newman - ‘Amber’ sounded more like a fun time girl. But then felt like I needed to drop the 'Maxine' so here I am again re-inventing myself as 'Amber Newman'. Much more comfortable now!
So who am I? I'm a good looking TGirl - well I'd like to think so - Hopefully it's not an ego attack! - (I don’t know what my exact definition is but this is the generic one I prefer as I'm not fond of specific labels or attempts to pigeon hole me!) I feel significantly more than a 'TV' or 'Crossdresser' (yuk I do not like that term), but maybe less than a 'TS'. Although considering my day to day attitudes,'Genderfluid' seems to fit better than most. Perhaps I should just stick with 'just me' - Amber!
I have long black hair (but can go with good old mouse brown depending on my mood), with blue eyes. (the rest is fairly obvious - 2 ears, 2 arms & a mouth in the usual location) I'm an avid mini skirt wearer, as guys (& girls for that matter) tell me I have a great pair of legs - so why not show them off & high heels are an absolute necessity be they boots or shoes!
Years back I used to put on my sexy clothes and makeup to go out dogging, both late at night to quiet, dark places & daytimes to meet up with friendly people for fun times. But those days have passed - It just doesn't seem the same anymore, U just don't see anyone around these days - dogging is dead, lets be honest. I'm looking for different things nowadays.
But I still love to meet up with guys. (I can’t accommodate sadly so please don’t ask). It's one of the highlights of my life as I really appreciate the acceptance they give me for who I am. So I’m more than willing to visit anyone at home (within a reasonable travelling distance - please don’t ask me to drive a couple of hundred miles for a quickie as U may end up with a single digit response unless Ur prepared to cough up some money to cover my petrol!) I can usually be enticed with a glass of white wine or a decent cup ‘o char’ and I’m not a smoker.
I don’t get out as often as I’d like. The need to hire a car and the other half of my life annoyingly just keeps getting in the way! Trying to run two lives together is one hell of a drain on time & energy.
So when I'm not meeting up, Amber-time involves late evening walks usually at the weekend (although not exclusively) around the city in whatever outfit seems appropriate for the time. If a guy wants to join me then I'm quite thrilled with that idea. Walking along a river bank with a nice chatty guy is fantastic. I feel it's more than playing 'the part', as it leaves me feeling so naturally comfortable in who I am.
The same is true of Amber-time during the day, & walking out on the streets & in & around shops is becoming more & more common for me. Although I think I have quite a way to go with this before I feel totally at ease with my situation. A meet up for a coffee sounds good to me!
So why do I think of myself as Genderfluid. Well I'm not always the tgirl - lets be realistic about this, climbing a tree in a mini skirt & high heels just isn't going to end well. The same goes for bending over into a car engine bay, despite feeling like fun at the time. Although I suspect others would be commenting on the view more than me! Gardening I'm quite prepared for - Nice pair of sweatpants & tight top to suit. As for housework - never thought of myself as the Freddie Mercury type, so sweatpants it is again! So while 'the other half' of me is is necessary, it's not my preferred persona, as tgirl time takes on more & more meaning for me.
I love Chix to bits & will always be here, but I don't get on here as often as I would like... If my options are going out as Amber, or stopping in to talk about it in the Chatroom... hmm I see which one is not going to be the winner there!
If U can’t meet or Ur not into meets that’s fine, by all means still drop me a line as I still luv to chat even if I'm not here regularly and I don’t think U’ll be disappointed if U do.
Thanx to anyone who has voted on one of my photos. I sincerely appreciate U taking the time to do it. (Except for the guy who gave me a 1/10 who I WILL get even with!)
For the future? Just keep going as Amber & making more & more time accessible for that part of my life as it's who I want to be! And along the way I hope to hear from U!
