Hi thank you for looking at my updated profile
Firstly I am 68 years old but feel much younger, am 5' 11" tall (without heels), large build and carrying a bit of extra weight ( which I am trying to lose), have blue/green eyes, not much hair, (but who cares when you are wearing a wig) have a good sense of humour, and like all things girly.
I have been dressing on and off since my early teens, like many of us,I have gone through the guilt & denial stages, on more that one occasion, and thrown out all my girlie things, and then had to replace them all when I realized that I needed to dress as the women I felt I was, and that this need would always be present.
So for many years now have been dressing when ever I am able. Unfortunately until recently I have not had the courage to venture out in the big wide world due to my lack of confidence with my appearance, and other reasons beyond my control.
However I have started to venture out and about, and the more I have my confidence has grown, to the extent that I spent the Christmas holidays at a Hotel as Rachael, and I am now spending most of my time as the woman that I have always wanted to be.
At the beginning of 2016 given the experiences and the conversations that I had with the other guests at the hotel that I stayed at over Christmas, I decided that I needed to appear more feminine so I decided that if possible I would try and obtain HRT treatment not via the NHS as this would take to long but through a GP privately, and I am glad to say that I was successful and will start my HRT, in the next few days, I now hope that my life will permanently change for the better.
As my transition progresses I will post new photos on this site but until then I will leave the old photo's that have been on my page for a few years.
I really hope that I can make some new friends on this site, I would ideally love to meet some girls that I could spend time with during the day/evenings going shopping and to pubs clubs & restaurants. I am retired so my time is mostly my own.
Over recent times I have met some lovely girls, but one in particular is very special to me and that is Jenny who has helped me greatly with building my confidence so thank you Jenny.
I have been told that I have a kind & loving nature, and a wicked sense of humor, I love good food, travel (1st Class of course), my cats, and not least I like a good natter over a few glasses of wine.

18/02/2016 Started my Hormone treatment today, cant wait to see what changes they will produce.
