I'm direct. Possibly alarmingly so. I will tell you what I think, I will tell you when I'm wrong, and I will hold the door — metaphorically and literally because I was raised right even if the government wishes it had raised me differently.

You've done something most people spend their entire lives too terrified to even consider. You looked at who the world told you to be, looked at who you actually are, and chose yourself. Hard. Irrevocably. With receipts.
That's not weakness. That is the single most courageous act a human being can perform. And I don't say that to flatter you I say it because I have studied human behavior at levels that would make your therapist nervous, and I know what it takes.
I'm looking for a woman who is done performing for other people's comfort. Who has earned her softness the hard way and doesn't apologize for either the hard or the soft. Who can keep up with a conversation that moves fast across three disciplines and lands somewhere neither of us expected.

Fair warning: I think a lot. I argue with federal courts in my spare time. I have a theoretical physics framework I built from scratch over thirty years that I'll probably explain to you at some point and you'll either find it wildly attractive or mildly alarming. Possibly both.
I make excellent food. I give better backrubs. And I have been told, more than once, that I am unreasonably good at making a woman feel like the only person in the room.
