22/11/20 - Wow, it's been a long time since I last updated this profile. Where does the time go? Work, that's where it goes :-( But, having spent the past decade working as an IT contractor and spending most of it away from home I've finally hung up my professional keyboard :-) and then Covid strikes and I can't go anywhere, do anything, meet anyone :-( I'm beginning to think the world is trying to tell me something lol
I'm hoping that once we alll get out freedom back and we're not going to be catching the lurgy I'll be out and about again. I think the contents of my wardrobe could do with an update first though.
For those who may be wondering the photos below are a little on the old side. I've not changed that much since they were taken, except for a few extra pounds round the tummy which I'm determined to lose.
I know I've had messages and guest comments I've missed replying too, that's down to not being on here much. I'm planning to fix that. :-)
13/06/2015 - Having a mass sort out of my clothes. Lots that I no longer think are me, if they ever were and quite a few that are now to big. What made me think I was a 40B, more like a 36C :-)
Currently trying to make up my mind about the direction I'm going in. And no, I'm still not wanting to have it chopped off but spending more time as Rose and getting out more is definitely a real desire.
02/06/2015 - It's been a long time since I last updated this profile and that's mostly due to spending the past few years working away from home and not getting much if any time as Rose. :-(
Anyway, I've got 3 months at home and planning to make the most of it. Still looking for someone to help out with advice on clothes and make up but I'm not holding my breath lol
16/06/2011 - A little bit of an update. I'm not sure what my reply stats are but if they don't say I'm rubbish at replying to messages then they're lying. I'm really bad at it so please accept my apologies if you've written to me and I haven't written back.
This profile also needs a bit of a prune and a re-write. 8-)
05/04/10 - Update 2 for this year. Well, what can I say, not really managing to live up to my last update. All dressed and made for the first time for what seems like ages. And I'm not really all glammed up either. Just the usual casual look. lol.
The last time I was out someone I wouldn't have expected a compliment from did say I was looking pretty that evening so chuffed about that. 8-)
11/2/10 - It's been a while since I last updated this profile so I thought I ought to put down a few lines.
I've decided that I'm going to try to have a bit more fun as Rose. Get out a bit more, try to meet some new people. I also want to try to expand my wardrobe a bit, try to include a few more things with a bit of slink to them. 8-) Try to look a little more glamorous when I go out and a little less plain.
Where this will take me I don't know but it'll be interesting to find out.
16/4/8 - What's going on - I've updated my profile a few times since 28/10 but it keeps disappearing. 8-( I'm going to be finishing my contract soon and will be back home and trannying about again. Yippee.
28/10/7 - It's been a while since I last updated this. Since the last update I've been a regular visitor to The Little John in York but that's come to an end as I'm now working away from home. Great for the bank balance but terrible for the social life. Just thinking of all the clothes I can buy when I finish this contract. The one drawback is that I'm putting on weight which will be something I'll have to sort out before going shopping.
12/4/7 - 5 trans women walk into a pub. How do you spot the TV. She's the only one wearing a skirt. cf last night at the York Arms. And yes, I was that trannie. :-)
2/11/6 - Thanks to all who's said nice things about my new picture and even bigger thanks to those who've given me such high scores.
It looks like I don't reply to people who send me mails. That's not true. My scores are so low ie 0 because I don't get any mail to reply too. lol.
If I've added you to my list of favourites but not sent you a message it's due to my innate shyness and being unsure you'd actually want a message from me.
17/6/6 - As of 16 days ago (1/6/6) I reached the age of 40. It's weird as I don't feel any different after hitting what is supposed to be such a momentus age.
20/3/6 - A bit slow this update. Been to BNO 8 and had an enjoyable time there. Didn't really talk to too many people due to my innate shyness. Did chat to a local girl called kathy, I don't think she was there because of tvChix. I did find the Attic a bit too smoky for my taste so ended up leaving earlier than planned. Gave the young man on reception a bit of a surpise when I got back to the hotel. I don't think he was expecting a 6ft 2in plus heels, TV wandering in at 2 in the morning. I'm still trying to decide whether to go again. I certainly will when the smoking ban comes in, not sure if I will before then.
9/2/6 - Yay for me. I've had my first trip out in the daylight today. Went shopping with a female friend of mine. Had a great time and managed to buy some more clothes, that aren't black, for a change. Finally bought a really nice coat where the sleeves were long enough in TK Maxx. Only cost £12!
28/1/6 - The shopping trip got canceled so I've still not gone out in the daytime. Ah well, the plan is to try and re-arrange it for some other time. Think I'll have to try to go shopping again in male mode. Oh joy.
22/1/6 - Got my first trip out in the daylight organised. This thursday I'm off on a shopping trip with a female friend of mine. This is the same one from New Year so hopefully I'll get a few style tips and come back with new clothes.
1/1/6 - Just spent the evening with a female friend of mine who got to see me as Rose for the first time. Now, she'd already offered to go shopping with me without knowing what I looked like. I am now a happy bunny. Why, I hear you ask? Well, she was very complimentary about the way I looked. She didn't think I looked like a guy in frock, more like a tall secretary type. I can live with that. She took the picture of me in the green top.
27/10 - I thought I should update this as it was reading a little out of date.
Yeah, yeah, out of the closet, whatever. OK, lets be more specific about this. I go out to trans friendly places and some of my friends now know (and no problems, so good there).
And yes, I've also been out and about in York more than once now. Haven't done anything too adventurous though. Just walked from the car park to the pub and back. Last time I went out I was going to go and get some cash from a machine. Instead I went straight to the pub after being spooked by a guy at the pay and display machine in the car park. He was there for the same reason i was and commented on the lack of light to see by. Knowing if I'd spoken he really would have clocked me I ummed and left quickly. God knows what he thought.
Woohoo, had my first trip to Manchester with a couple of friends. Fantastic experience. I even got a snog from a real girl. Amazing. I think I'll leave that bit in. Been back to Manchester a couple of more times now.
Shopping is not as difficult as it was but still can't make a decision on what to buy. Not tried shopping for a while so who knows what I'll be like next time.
I'm 6ft2in tall, so heels really make me stand out. I now have the boots and I'm very happy with them.
I also have brown hair and green eyes.
Last time in Manchester someone I met there took some pix of me. Not really any better than the ones I have. I really do look a lot better in real life than I do in the pictures.
