Life has calmed down for me since I last posted the below. I'm feeling so much more at ease with the person I am and how I live. Don't get me wrong, I still have frustrating moments but I think as I've got older I care less about what others think about me. I've lost a few friends along the way but nowadays I prefer my own company, nothing better than a good book and a glass of wine whilst wearing a lovely outfit or relaxing in my loungewear.

I'm finally out! After years of hiding Samantha away from friends and family and feeling alone and frustrated I decided to open up to people over the past year. No negative responses, only love and happiness towards me, something I wasn't expecting. God, I wish I'd done this sooner!
Now I'm beginning a new chapter of my life and hope I can find acceptance in myself and begin to love myself. Although I have come out I still like to be male and often mix and match my clothes so I can feel comfortable when I'm not Samantha. However my wardrobe is mostly female clothing and I no longer wear those boring male boxer shorts!
I am very happily married to an amazing beautiful woman who has accepted me for who I am and has helped me embrace my feminine side. My wife has supported me from many tough periods when I have struggled to accept this side of me, mostly due to guilt and confusion. She has helped me grow in confidence and go out as Samantha, something I thought I'd never do. Without her I would be lost in life. She is my best friend, lover and soul mate.
I am now at a stage in my life where I am looking for fellow girls like me who I can make friendships with and chat or meet up for drinks and girlie get togethers and embrace who we are. I no longer want to hide away and instead embrace this part of me.
