Hi gurls it’s New Year’s Eve , happy new year to you all , by the way , how many of you have bought dresses and found them too small , my favourite lable is chi chi London , they are small fitting , some lables in other dress makers a 16 does fit ok , however chi chi London are small fitting , also prom , special occasion , bridesmaid and wedding dresses are around 2 sizes smaller than the size stated on the dress lable , I have started to let a few out , easily done for some , the green satin with black lace overlay was marked an sz18 , well more a 14 , i unstitched the side panels and re stitched it 4” larger where needed , im also wearing a corset to give better shape , the cheap Chinese corsets look great and are well made for the money £10-20 cheap lol, how many of you own a few and sadly find the cheap and nasty plastick boning distorts and starts to bite into you , this garment can be made batter by doing away with the plastic and fitting proper spiral boning , this makes the corset wearable , still snug and figure shaping however all that nasty binding at the waist disappears
I’m thinking of running a sewing school ???, I have a few good sewing machines and a lot ok know how on making a dress fit , sometimes thers enough built into the dress to allow for adjustment and sometimes panels need added , if some of you would like to learn how to fix a dress to your size feel free to get in touch , all by appointment , first visite is free , ( you arrange to meet and we discuss if you can adapt your dress , then with my skills and you sewing you actually get that dress to fit , the sewing sessions are £10 an hour plus sundries ,

Hi friends have not been on much , I suppose covid messed us all up , didn’t dress from covid publicly untill my birthday in June 24 , the recent pics wearing either a flowery light dress or black n red dress were taken recently at or around mavericks Belfast , I’d recommend usb or mavericks both very excepting and welcoming of us t gurls , looking another adventure soon
