I would like to say thank you for the Valentines I received in 2024, they brightened up my day. I have worked out who some are from and working on trying to identify the others.
Have been trying out my photos on pictriev and how-old.net and it showed my age as between 26 and 41. Well pleased with that as I am past the 60 mark. pictriev also gives % as male or female and the one photo showed as 99% female. Thank you to Suzie in Dublin for those stunning results.
Was looking around the make up in Boots and noticed on the Benefit counter they had cards offering make up lessons. I picked on up and asked one of the girls how much notice you had to give to book one. She turned round and said if you have the time we can do it now. So on 23rd december in a prominent position in all the Christmas shoppers I spent 40 minutes having make up applied and the different methods and tricks. All this while in male mode. Having a break in Las Vegas and went for a full manicure and pedicure. Called in at the Bare Minerals counter in John Lewis, Solihull today. The assistant, Fran, was most helpful with colours and different products and gave me a full makeover, even though I was in male mode. If any gurls are in the area and need somewhere to buy make up without feeling embarrassed I can recommend here and as the counter is near the back of the store with easy access from the car park, so not very likely that you will be noticed by anybody.Unfortunately, Fran has now left Bare Minerals.

News that Debenhams will not be reopening in Birmingham means I will have to find other places to go for make up advice
Have my nails done (with my partner) every four weeks and have had a number of compliments from women in different situations while in male mode.

Went to the local pub quiz as Cathy. I was due to go on to Outskirts after the quiz but the person I was due to go with had to cancel so stayed in the local all night.

Went to visit Dress2Impress again for another makeover. Another great day. A few different outfits and a visit out to a park for a few photographs plus a visit to a pub for an orange juice and a large slice of cake.

A visit to Outskirts for the first time in ages and first time at The Loft Lounge in Birmingham with my partner. Met with a couple of people not seen since before lockdown. A good night that passed too quickly.

Another visit to Outskirts but there are rumours that The Loft Lounge is going to close. Meetings might have to change to Wednesdays. Another good night apart from the return taxi not turning up because of Eid. This meant a walk across part of Birmingham to go and hail a black cab. Good job sensible heels were worn.

Annual visit to Sparkle in Manchester. The day did not start as planned as walked from the hotel in Altrincham to the tram station to be told the trams were not running due to overhead line problems. The alternative was catch the bus. We found the one going to Manchester, got a seat but the bus soon filled up and had standing passengers so a bit crowded. It also takes twice as longas the tram. Met the friends we were going to have lunch with and went to the Double Tree hotel restaurant.
After lunch it was back along Canal Street and into the gardens for a walk around and listen to the entertainment before heading back to a bar for a drink sitting outside on Canal Street watching others walking around. Trams were operating by the time we returned to Altrincham. Walked back to the hotel to find the room keys did not work. This meant a visit to reception. It was the same person that had checked us in the previous day but did not say anything about my change of appearance over the 2 days and reset the key.

In Las Vegas staying with friends so booked my regular makeover with Amy at Just You.
After the transformation it was off to Morton's Steakhouse for dinner.
A great day with another different look (had long red hair this time). Photos will follow on Flickr soon.
I think it was a great success as I was called really hot by a married lesbian.
New profile picture from this makeover. Tried it on 'pictriev' and the result was 98% female and age 25!! Not bad for 68 year old.

The local bar was having a drag queen as saturday night entertainment so some staff and customers asked if Cathy was going to be there. Who was I to refuse the chance to go out in a dress.
Had a lot of compliments (and had my breasts felt by a few women) and had a good night out

Christmas quiz time in the local bar so a good reason to go in my Mrs Claus outfit. We did not win the quiz but I did win a prize for the best outfit.
