What Glasgow Third Friday is about? "Glasgow Third Friday" or "GTF" is the Third Friday night of each month in Merchant City Glasgow.. We meet up in Speakeasy from 6-9pm then head out to Trans friendly LGBTQ bars. It doesn't clash with other UK events like Leeds LFF, BNO, Manchester Minxs and CJ's We usually have about 20 girls out a night. It's a great event for first timers and partners. Been a regular night for last 2 years and with 26 event nights out so far. The most active trans+ socials in Scotland 🏴 with supports other nights in the UK On February 2024 we had over 40 girls out, with help from the LFF Leeds Girls 💋 It doesn't clash with any events like Leeds LFF, Manchester Minxs or CJ's We have met some great friends due to these night and plus the regular girls who go out all the time but are welcoming to all the new girls. It's a good easy-going safe place to meet up, get drinks, get food and see where you want to go next. We don't offer any dressing service, but we have a makeup girl For makeovers in the city centre, St. Vincent lane/Buchanan St Just google"Planet Babe" Ania is an amazing artist £40 a pop. If you can totter out by your own steam, you will have friends there waiting to support you. Any girls who would like to venture out for the first time, I'd strongly suggest coming to these nights out. This is open to anyone friends, real girls, admires and partners. We will keep you safe and entertained, you will meet friends for life, and you will wonder why you didn't do it earlier. A good chat with like-minded, easy going ladies enjoying being out and about. Even come in male mode to test venues and boost confidence to do it next time. ________________________________________________________________ MEETING POINT 6pm to 9pm: The Start point is in Speakeasy from 6.15pm to 9pm. A nice all round bar, friendly staff, does bar snacks and quiet to start with, no problem getting seats, It picks up when the entertainment starts about 9pm Glasgow got loads of LGBTQ+ bars which are all Trans friendly, with 5 bars 3 clubs next to each other. It's a 5-minute walk or 10 minutes in heels away. NEAREST BARS: Speakeasy - This is our usual meeting point Katie's - across the road, great busy bar, probably got karaoke/cabaret on, opened to midnight. Underground - next door, it's a Bear bar but everyone really friendly. Delmoniaca's - "Dels" Best known bar, at weekend very busy. The Gallery Bar - A man's man Gay bar - It's alright. Bacchus - Nice wee bar - mostly straight but Trans friendly The Corset Club - Cabaret bar Merchant Pride - Alright bar, only been a couple of times The Waterloo - The oldest gay bar Stereo - A vegan restaurant - very trans friendly bar CJ's - The local swingers club - we rarely have events clashing. CLUBS: The Riding rooms - the bar connected to Polo Lounge club -get in before 11 for free A good bar and not as manic as the Polo, with some cabaret acts, The Polo Lounge - get there before 11 for free, the Club open till 4am.- basically a busy gay nightclub AMX - A very young & loud nightclub _______________________________________________ This has put Glasgow on the T-Girl map as a viable option. We do link up with other night's out like LFF and Manchester Minxs _____________________________________________ |

The GTF November was a success 34 people out We had 8 new girls out, some where returning not been out since lock-down You can see who went on our forum post here at events & venues We had different groups of people from admirers, supportive partners Trans woman, Transvestite and everyone in-between, all wanting a Night out at the pub, and Karoke But there is better choices in the city centre The night is getting to big to manage conventional now And it won't be long untill it's groups of girls that appear But there will always be support for the newbies We are taking steps to get some GTF Merchandising Big thanks for Mandy the Merch Queen For December GTF or order on our Facebook page Many thanks to all the girls that come each month And the ones that show occasionally Here's to a Merry Christmas December 20th and a successful 2025 Susan Scott 💜 |
