A lovely evening with plenty of dancing and a mass 91 people too. Such a friendly place music was great with plenty of 70s and 80s. Food was amazing with a hot and cold buffet too. For those thinking of making a trip down well worth a visit however it is moving to just round the corner as the drinks are much cheaper which will be better and I hear it’s a nice hall too. Certainly entry free well worth the money a real nice evening x

There was a good cabaret act and good tunes from Shirley as usual. Had a lovely time, looking forward to next month already. |

Great girl night out. Lots of dancing, cabaret, buffet, bar, what more could a girl want! Very friendly people and a very diverse mix of people. Really enjoyed myself. Stayed at the hotel and staff very friendly as well, good value stay. Will come again!

I was a ‘first timer’ to this particular event although I knew a fair few of the other attendees from events elsewhere. It was very convenient as I happened to be staying at the hotel. The venue within the hotel was mildly challenging to find as The Victory Suite isn’t as well signposted as the others. The evening was very good indeed, with an excellent buffet. For me, however, the ‘live entertainment’ was a complete let down - a vulgar, course Drag Queen is not my idea of entertainment. If the entertainer had not sung such smutty interpretations of songs that would have been better. Along with several others, we moved to the bar seating area until that ‘set’ was complete. Overall, yes I will be planning to attend again and I can recommend the evening. |
