Home of Outskirts, Birmingham's social support group for trans people and their friends.Equator Bar is always a friendly place towards trans people at any time. Outskirts meets there on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. Most people arrive around 8.00pm, bar closes around midnight. There is a well lit NCP car park nearby and an open car-park just down the road.
It is a mixed gay bar, smart and comfortable with food served during the day.

TRANSCEND Birmingham (previously Birmingham Belles) We meet up on the third Saturday of every month in Equator on Hurst St at 8 pm, and then head off later with friends around the gay village area. Visit Missing, Loft, the Fox, the Village Inn, the Fountain or venture further afield - and if you want to club through the early hours there's Nightingales night club. Anyone on the Trans spectrum and their partners are welcome, there is no 'dress code', wear whatever you are comfortable in - as long as it's suitable for public viewing! Probably the biggest Transcend turnout so far, over twenty of us , and a fabulous night out around the gay village. A must-do event if you can make it to Birmingham!

Fantastic night, a big thank-you to everyone who came, it was lovely seeing so many friends out enjoying themselves in Brum! Starting in Equator gave everyone a chance to chat and meet people. This time most people stayed together - for live music in the Fox garden, some watching Karaoke in Missing, a bit of a dance in Sidewalk, and then down to the Village to end the night π |

A new regular meet for us gals in the heart of the country and LGBTQ vilage. A great night to catch up with freinds, have a good natter and later a dance if you wish. Freindly open people and hotels within a few minutes walk. Come and discover Brum. Brum's gals and a nice chilled night out.

Really busy evening, lots out. I try to regularly attend. This week, I was attending another event. Though managed to stop by the fox around 11pm. Chaotic time of the evening, but plenty of friendly people out. And music playing in the garden. I like equator as a starting point as itβs a little calmer than lots of places on the scene. Keep up the good work π³οΈββ§οΈπ³οΈβπ
