To get to Canal Street turn left out of the hotel along Auburn Street, cross over the tram tracks on Aytoun Street (A6) and Auburn Road continues so follow it as it passes the canal and the Crown Court then turn right onto Minishull Street and then immediately left on to Canal Street. There is generally very little traffic and few pedestrians in any of these streets.
